Same here. Been to the Artisan market for a gift - had already decided which stall and (roughly) what. Was walking away when I relaised there was the perfect gift there for someone else too, and I got a discount! BOOM! Was busy but it's a proper old-fashioned outdoor market so I wasn't to worried. Kept hands firmly in pocket while browsing. Popped into Tesc0 (Metro) for spuds for fish pie and treated myself to some extra stockpots as they're not stocked in my usual supermarket. Used my clubcard points for them. And parking was free and I got a huge pack of spuds YS to 19p.Jazee said:p
Round, I do my wrapping on the ironing board to save my back.
Want to clean LR and get stepladders from shed ready for tree and trimmings to go up. I shall make 2 fish pies and freeze one for a CBA day.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I've wrapped the presents for Dad and Barbara which I'll drop off on Christmas Eve.
If I'm not careful I might actually be organised this year. 🙃

LR has been vacuumed. I have put some of Grumpy dogs tennis balls in the WM, along with some more pet bedding and a rope toy. They are thundering about in the TD now!
We usually buy him new ones every year, but there are about 20 in the garden getting slimy. We have saved some pennies (we will wrap them up for him to open Christmas day - he gets so excited!!) and the shops are all shut now anyway!!
Went to Mr Als - only queued for a little while. It wasn't too bad. We have a turkey crown!
I have spoken to my Mum - she has decided to stay home on Christmas Day. I have told her to do whatever she is comfortable with. We are down to 4 now, instead of the usual 12ish! We will do a zo0m quiz - the challenge will be getting her to log in!
I hope everyone is ok. Well done Round on being so organised!6 -
Round well said. If anyone needs a virtual hand to hold I am here.
We went for a nice walk this afternoon. DS1 has been sent to Surrey for work (even though they are in tier 4). I told him to be really vigilant about hand washing etc.
Work tomorrow, it will be a full on day, Asd@ shopping coming, need to keep flying this week. Everyone is under strict instructions to do their bit, I will not spend Christmas running around after them all!8 -
