Pigpen your photo made me smile too, gorgeous girls.
And Narco you are so clever, that is stunning. ASB you made it to Friday, and the holidays!! And can you imagine us working together, we would be chatting non-stop about ways to be frugal and generally putting the world to rights.
Cant stop smiling that DS is home, even if his telly woke me up late last night Little dog has been to the vets for his prescription check, all good for his age. I got stupidly stressed about it but DH met me there and took charge, I was very grateful.
Going into town tomorrow on a very rare shopping trip. I want some particular toffees for Dad, we need more wrapping paper and DH wants a couple of things. We will stop off and get rid of some cardboard on the way.9 -

Beautiful photos, Piggers and Narc0.
When did the girls get so growed up?? And yes, Narc0, photos in situ definitely required as these things make us happy ❤️8 -
Well, I have survived the week! DH still has one day to go - he is exhausted! He is a postie. They were told today to not take any post out, just parcels! He tries to argue it, and if he sees any letters that are obviously from the hospital he sneaks them out!
I really need to get sorted this weekend! (I know I always say that, but I mean it this time! 😉😂) I have brought a notepad upstairs with me, so I can make a proper list while I am lazing about in bed in the morning! 😂
Hugs to those that need them, esp Kaz. This storm too will pass....
Night night everyone!8 -
WAC here. Just done some bank stuff and about to start a report.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8

GI we have a new postie, he looks very young (but I am getting to that age where anyone under 30 looks very young). He was absolutely frazzled yesterday and he had to come back because he forgot a parcel. Say thank you to DH from me, I really couldnt have gone to the shops this year, I get anxious shopping at the best of times, so I do appreciate the posties and the parcel delivery people.
I need to keep on with my exercise routine - I have fallen behind a bit this week. I have worked so hard to get my fitness back this year and I dont want to let it slide too much over Christmas. My brother and I were going to do a 100 mile cycle ride last year for Teenage Cancer Trust and I would like to do it next year if we can. So that will be the first job this morning.
Doggie bedding in the WM, have emptied and refilled DW. Really in need of some downtime this weekend so I will be gently pottering. There is still some Christmas present wrapping to do and our bedroom is a bit messy after I moved things out of DSs bedroom, which I use as my dressing room when he isnt here.
Have a good Saturday all, love and hugs to anyone feeling anxious and stressed, the news is worrying and this Covid situation just seems to have gone on for so long x9 -
Piggers lovely photos, I can't believe how they've all grown.
Narc0 lovely picture too, you are so talented. I love it 😀
Got up at 5.30am..seems the early mornings are back..grr!! Made a cuppa and then ended up watching carpe on the tv.Keep looking at the crap behind the chair here in the living room..well its behind the chair to the table..about 8ft of space. I just feel like bundling it all up and throwing it under the stairs, well just for Christmas anyway.. How did my house get like this?Anyway I have my sister visiting from Wales on a flying visit this morning, to pick up their present box. That will cheer me up a bit..Still have to sort out the porch, where the Christmas food will be going, but at the moment I've got jars etc on the table and on the kitchen worktops.I wish I could literally get into all the tidying up but after about an hour I'm shattered and so blooming hot, and dripping with sweat, I give up...🙄Any ideas would be appreciated 🙏 🙂Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning xx
I'm up, made my bed, covered bed in piles of presents so that I can see who I've got what. Or is it what I've got who? Had a brew and written a to do and when to do list that ensures cards will be delivered, presents will be wrapped and dropped off, tree will be up, and I will not be running round like a crazy thing after work on Thursday. I've factored in DS's birthday (30th Dec) and Dad's birthday (4th Jan), and I'm meeting L in a car park this afternoon for a SD present swap which includes her birthday gift for 8th Jan. So feeling a wee bit more organized 🙃
At work I've indicated that I am not available for redeployment elsewhere but I am happy to cover for people who are redeployed. They know that I'll sit and do the work of 3 people if necessary because I've done it before. So fingers crossed that will work for the powers that be too.
Round 1 =
get dressed
feed the birds
put out rubbish and recycling
sort washing
brew 2 and breakfast
Big hugs to Kaz, Narc0, and everyone else. Keep on keeping on. And breathe xx
