Morning all.
think my blues are down to not being able to do anything nice or see friends and family. I would usually have Xmas nights out planned and booked, and of course I haven't.
Anyway bedding washed to go in the line. Lots to do today include downloading kids work ready to print because about 2/3 of the work I downloaded and sent to the printer yesterday disappeared en route. Then I can match it with the written work ready for filing.
Dentist later. Might fit in a trip to the new Sally Army chazzer.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Non working day today as usual, but DH also has the “day off”. It doesn’t really make much difference as he is here all the time anyway. I have a fun filled day planned - school run, doctors for smear test, dash back to school, hairdressers. All my most hated jobs in one day! I have told the dr that they won’t be able to do the test, that they will call every man and his dog in to take a look, then decide to refer me. But we have to go through the rigmarole - *sigh*. Think of me with my dignity hung up on the doorhook, waiting to be picked up on the way out- one of the most the only useful thing my stepmother ever said to me.
I might complete my day by cleaning the bathrooms. But then again I might not.
Narc0 - I have pm’d you, in case it helps x
Have a lovely day all x8 -
Morning all
More hugs for you all in case it helps x
I spoke to the GP yesterday, dose of nighttime tablet now increased in the hope that in a couple of weeks it may enable me to reduce some of the daytime painkillers, she’s also putting me on the list for a steroid injection but that will be in the new year. Pain was a touch better so I did whizz through the kitchen last night before my regular Monday zoom call, not all the jobs done but I did mop the floor so that at least looks better!
This morning dailies are done, wm is swishing and laundry from yesterday has been folded, I have a charity coming to pick up some furniture tomorrow and I’ve also promised them 3 bags of clothes etc, 1 is ready so my mission through today is to fill another 2, I’m going to take a proper lunch ‘hour’ to get that done!
Paid stuff is slightly less manic as people are taking their leave prior to Christmas... I also still have my ‘help’ so things are more manageable at present...
Not sure yet what other flying will be done today, will check back later with some sort of progress report x8 -

Decided to attack DD1 bedroom which had become a dumping ground, most things now moved to where they should be. Next is fill my car with charity and tip stuff and then head over there when I have to go out to the bank. Luckily our tip has a charity drop off point so it's very easy and superbly organised.
Quick pause for a drink, then back to the grindstone9 -
Morning all, managed to clean the oven yesterday but that was about it
Should have some more time this evening so will roll yesterday's other jobs over too. Did manage to tax the car and renew the home insurance (cutting £80 off the renewal quote I was given by the current insurer!) and notify the old guys that I'd found a new provider so that's two big scary jobs gone off the weekly list.

Both girls' bedrooms now look like bedrooms again, I filled my car and went to the tip/recycling centre and got rid of it all, I was amazed how much stuff there was. Tip was very quiet too so that was nice.
Stopped to pick up a religious Christmas card from a friend, I only wanted one for my lovely retired cleaning lady who still comes and feeds my cats in the holidays and didn't want to buy a packet. Suitable donation made. The French traditionally send New Year cards to people they are not going to see in January, in January you have to remember to wish anyone you see for the first time Happy and healthy new year. (Gets quite hard to remember who you've already seen by the end of the month) It's an idea I like as I prefer to ignore religion, my grandparents were Welsh presbytirian and Irish Catholic, I was brought up in Lebanon, Iran, Peru & Greece as well as UK and now France, so seen a fair few of them! Fascinating but leads to an awful lot of questions.
Lunch being eaten as I type.
It felt strange going out today without having to complete a declaration on my phone, but although lockdown has finished we now have a curfew from 20.00 - 06.00 so all you can do is work and sleep.
Time to get going and go and deliver this card as it's sunny so I can enjoy the walk
