Morning jobs done, doctor decluttered and bathrooms cleaned to boot. DH is apparently going to pick up DD shortly so one job less for me wooty woot woot. I might try to get enthusiastic to drag the vacuum cleaner around upstairs before I have to go to get my hair chopped. Hmmmm the council have authorised one road through the next village shut for repairs and also the main road around it for different works. Should make for an interesting journey.9

Update on the day, now in pjs and relaxing:
DHs wound is infected again so back on antibiotics, shopping done but not very MSE as I didn't stick to the list, all council paperwork and prep up to date. I am worn out after a session at the dog field. All three of us came back extremely muddy but happy. It's done me good to be out in the sunshine.
Dailies ar3 done and it's back to the paid stuff very early tomorrow. Have lovely evenings everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Cleaned kitchen. Left floor to dry while I nipped to dentist. I say 'nipped'. I was in there at least 3/4 hout but I did find a parking space right outside. A rarity. Then I went to town. Parking free after 3pm. Got the Boots star gift for an extra £3 off plus extra points because I had a coupon book. I only get it for the day/night cream as they are £25 individually so an immediate saving plus I get nice extras. Went to savers. Went to Wilk0 for rabbit food and they had none at all. It's getting to be regular they don't have what I prefer but none at all is bad. Came home. Fetched washing in, refilled bunny hutch, got stuff from shed freezer. Washed patio window sill (outside) and removed moss and algae. Have stuff thawing for lunch and tea tomorrow.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Hello xx
I managed to start my car first turn of the key this morning. Much relief. I've had a good day at work despite being on the phone to IT this morning and working on a cobbled together system all day. Took a few tries to start my car tonight but I refused to let it stop me from calling at the Post Office on my way past. Rent paid and last of the postie cards sent. And car started first time woot woot.
I'm having a hot chocolate and I've put a couple of potatoes in the oven as I fancy jacket spuds buried in grated cheese for tea. Detritus from lunch box has been rinsed ready to be recycled in the morning.
Washing machine has been fitted at DS and GF's - they are trying it now. Finger crossed xx So once this last batch of washing is returned they'll be doing their own laundry. 🥳 Which reminds me: I have a load ready to swish.
Much love to all.
Rxx

Evening all,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for being a listening ear to me. The day got better, I covered my whiteboard in the classroom with motivational quotes and forced myself to do the jobs I've been putting off for ages, namely nip to the PO, chemist and library to return a book. I felt boosted after doing those things so ploughed on and paid my eBay fees, downloaded my wage slip and bought the final pressie online. I am now settled in for the night, the heating is on and we are all fed.
I am so proud of you YL for standing up for yourself. Round - very pleased the car started for you, well done for getting to the PO as well. Fayolle, it sounds like you're struggling too, have a big hug from me.I'd be lost without you all in the b*tsh*t crazy world we live in. Xx9 -
Thank you that is so brilliant, they had the book in stock. Big hugs and I hope your day went better than feared, or at least the nastier things are over.Fayolle said:Narc0 - I have pm’d you, in case it helps x
Mr N has been a good flyman today - DW, WM done and now he is cooking dinner.
I've checked and sent off the difficult report and am doing another; no word from uni yet as to whether it is advisable for me to go in tomorrow and Thurs, I'm a bit surprised but guess I'd better prepare to go in.
Went to aqua aerobics, got in the pool and receptionist came out apologising profusely as the instructor couldn't make it so we were given a free coffee.
Had a Zoom with a friend/fellow assessor.
Bad day for IT all round but most of the glitches have been dealt with.
Rang fellow arranger to see if she wanted help with flowers for the church (she's recently diagnosed with dementia and can't drive, so I was going to buy the flowers and take them to her to arrange, then deliver them to church).
Hugs to lots of you.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Whoever knew that so few lentils could make such a humungous pot of dahl!! The freezer is bursting at the seams so trying to squish the leftovers in will be one lentil too far. Still, feeling pretty mse with my cobbled together dinner AND hm naan breads from Eat Well for Less.
Hair decluttered. New appointment made but we both agreed that it was highly likely not to happen with an anticipated post Christmas lockdown. We will see.
Glad to have helped, Narc0. Didn’t like to think of Mr N missing his present when he is such a good flyman.Hugs all round. Sorry to have been such a grouch, but you certainly are the best listening ears ❤️9 -
DIL has 2 kids SI, and the school has closed as too many staff are off with CV19 / SI, so zoom lessons are taking place, so she has had to WFH.Kitchen is cleaned yet again as I made a mess cooking tonight.Stuff bought online for presents,Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

I see the support we all give each other on here is having a massive impact - I too am benefitting. Thank you.
Had an ebay sale - something I listed not expecting it to go had watchers and three bids. To be fair I should remember from my flea market trading days that ANYTHING will sell eventually...if it's priced right.
Dental receipt photographed and emailed to Health Insurance Scheme. Damp laundry ironed and airing.
