Morning xx
I've just lost my post. I do hope that is not an indication of how this week will pan out.
Brief summary: thank you for lists, taking car to garage for 8.30, anxiety is high, buying DS and GF a WM for Christmas, need to write list/ brain dump before my head explodes, I love you all.
Amen.

Morning all. Lots of positive vibes coming to all fly ladies, whatever you need them for.
I have an idea in my head of what I'd like to achieve today and the dogs are going to be groomed but DHs wound has opened up again so sorting out bedding is first on the list.Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Hugs to asb xx Thinking about you too xx
It seems that losing the post was an indication of how the day would be. I got in my car to take it down to the garage to investigate why it won't start - guess what: it won't start!!!! I've phoned the garage and they will send someone to look at it later.
Looking for the bright side- car was already booked in at the garage/ I don't have to be anywhere today. I don't think it's the battery- my best guess is that the starter motor has gone.
1st WM load is on the airer, 2nd load is swishing. I've fed the birds and put out the recycling. Fighting my way through brain fog now.
Round 1 =
breakfast & another brew
WUDUPA - I love that my phone now recognises that as a word 🙂

I'd like to join in please
I've just started with Flylady, and have downloaded the app. I have been working through the weekly lists, and alternating with TOMM, as once a month for the rooms doesn't seem enough.
This thread seems like the perfect balance between them.10 -
Welcome aboard GeorgieLou.
Mr G00gle said put the car in gear and rock it. So I did. And car started first time- and has been taken to the garage- arriving just as the mechanic was about to set off to jump start it here. He thinks it might just be a loose connection- fingers crossed xx
So I walked home from the garage hand delivering Christmas cards on my way. Had a lovely chat with the NN up the road. And suddenly this week feels lighter. I hope you are having a similar experience asb xx
Right- Round 1 awaits.

Thank you Natty and Valli for the lists - always much appreciated even if I don't always rarely follow them to the letter! When I joined, Dustykitten was the listmaker from whom Valli took over: I still have her Declutter and Deep Clean lists saved on my computer, just in case I ever need inspiration a kick in the right place again!
So much going on in Flylady land ... Big (((hugs))) to asb, YL, round, Fayolle, Narc0, pigpen, Natty's family and everybody else who is buckling under the strain of just surviving.
After a horrendous week fighting with the dark days, video editing, grumpy DH, too much to do and too little time to achieve it, order is finally being restored here. The spare bed in the study is clear of gibble because I was Z00ming yesterday afternoon with the Tots, and even the piles of papers on all the other surfaces are slowly diminishing. The Christmas lights are up in the front garden (thanks to A helping) and bring me joy. My SAD lamp is working overtime and also having a good effect. I managed to get to the shops for F&V on Saturday afternoon and bought the largest possible frozen turkey within the small size price range, so MSE brain is still in gear! I am well on my way to finishing off the little knitted dolls for my godchildren, and we even made a start on writing cards yesterday after watching Strictly. The bad news is that I have demolished a whole packet of MrL's spiced Christmas biscuits (Spekulatius/Spekulaas) in four days, all by myself!!!
Today's list:
- hoover and dust all through downstairs; remove Rosie's muddy pawprints from the vinolay
- S&S kitchen and bathroom
- water the pot plants
- WM x?????
- compose and print out our Christmas letter: it will be mainly photos of garden flowers, woodland walks, DGC and Rosie, as there's not a lot to write about what DH describes as a "non-year"
- put up lights in the back garden (they're within easy reach)
- Rosie's walk
- around teatime, pick up presents from the other godparents to deliver to E and J on Wednesday, and at the same time take more photos for the Posada
- join a Z00m service this evening when DS2 will acquire yet another job title
- finish the knitting, maybe start some of the sewing up
- write more cards

Chuckling at the thought of an opened packet of biscuits lasting 4 days!!! It wouldn't happen at this house. 4 hours maybe but 4 days!!!! Nope. 🙂
2nd WM load has been draped on the airer. Breakfast has been eaten. Brew 2 is being savoured. And I've sorted out the Christmas cards into relevant piles for delivery.
Pots next.

Glad your day is brightening up Round, keep SMILING
Breakfast eaten
WM on
HHI done and put away
Spending and saving spreadsheets updated
Living room tidied round
Coffee made and taken to OH
Admin done and bills paid
Feeling happy as got a refund from the electricity company, they reduced my payments in July and I was worried that I would get a bill in December just when I really don't want it so feeling very pleased with myself, little economies must be working.
OH has asked for soup for lunch so that is nice and easy.
Hugs, sticks and spoons as required, help yourselves, and don't forget to SMILE!7 -
Morning all
Thanks for the lists, starting off with sending hugs, posivibes, sticks, spoons and flylady dust to anyone in need xx
Im at work, I’m still in pain, GP did not call me back on Friday, when I rang this morning they said it was booked for today, hmmm, that’s not was I was told but ho hum...
DH is off again today, he has been following the printed lists bless him, it’s not quite to my standard, but it’s better than nothing and I’m very grateful that he will do it!
Anyway, I put some decorations and a teeny tree up yesterday, it’s all quite low key but there’s only the two of us and I’m pleased with how it turned out.For today’s list, wm x 1 run and on the airer, 2nd load set to swish, bed made and other dailies done ✅
I have 1 and a half days annual leave to use, trying to decide whether to tag them on to my Xmas break or to take them this week, have to choose today, time is running out Lol
Anyway back to the coal face now, take care all xx9
