Prices are a worry aren’t they. However you are building memories with the boys and swimming is teaching them a great life skill.I think I’m going to try and use less meat to cut my shopping bill. Especially in slow cooker meals which I batch cook and freeze. Maybe vegetable curry & chilli. Hi Everyone,
Hope you are doing OK.
Thought I would post a bit of an update as I am near a milestone. When I first joined the board I decided to assign in my mind chunks of the mortgage I had left (161k) to rooms in my house. Was 16k per room so each room feels like a massive milestone and a big step. So in my mind I own my kitchen and now I am just 650.70 away from owning my living room. My balance will then be 128k, which I know is still alot of money but a lot less than 161k. Its been hard to put additional money to the mortgage with costs rising but we have managed to carpet the living room which was a big expense but very worthwhile.
Everything else generally OK, this end.
I will update again when I know that room is mine and then pick another.Mortgage Aug 2019 161,000 :eek::eek::eek:Nov 2019 156,500:T Jan 2020 153,122:T, Apr 2020 149,500, Apr2021 139, 675, Oct 2021 136,823, Dec 2021 136,120🙂EF 0/12,000 (0%)😕 (5062.44 was ERC), Jan 2023 128,650. You're doing well with buying rooms. If a whole room feels too big a task break it down into quarters or eight's etc.

Thank you MF, I appreciate that. Have lost my way quite a bit tbh as finding it hard to balance everything. Pay day today so will have a look at what I can do but have my Mot and a car ins to pay this month. My work didn't pay my OT either which is frustrating.
Let's pick a room and break it down a bit :-)Mortgage Aug 2019 161,000 :eek::eek::eek:Nov 2019 156,500:T Jan 2020 153,122:T, Apr 2020 149,500, Apr2021 139, 675, Oct 2021 136,823, Dec 2021 136,120🙂EF 0/12,000 (0%)😕 (5062.44 was ERC), Jan 2023 128,650.
