We have had 2 apts this week and have been told we can go ahead very soon which is much sooner than I thought and may be before payday. I have asked to borrow money from my very kind family member and they have kindly agreed 🙂. I do want to get it back to them ASAP so just waiting on an invoice for that. It's an expensive time.

We have had someone look at work for the other house but what needs to be done is fiddly and we got the impression they didn't really want to do it. Oh is thinking up a plan to see if he can do some himself and then just get someone in to do the final bit. As bad as it sounds I am leaving it with him atm as my head is spinning.

Nice day with the boys, we made cake, watched a film and played. Have had a good clean of the kitchen which looks much better.

Payday seems like a million miles off!

    Hope everyone is OK.

Yes MF you are right I shouldn't feel guilty. I do need to be as relaxed as possible.

Had a good day today, OH working so I took the boys for a swim and then we had a friend round, quite productive as did some cleaning and 5 loads of washing

Sausage and mash for tea so that was quite easy.

I think I have noticed a pattern in myself which is not good.... When money is not good I stay away which is the exact opposite of where I need to be.

We have managed to almost complete the majority of work on the BTL, We were quoted 6k but OH did it with his Dad and we got it done for under 1k. We have a few more bits to do and need to sort the garage door but no urgency on that. I am just very pleased we have saved some money and moved forward with the situation.

Have been doing quite a bit of OT atm which is draining and I am going to try and scale that back for a bit. We have Mot and car ins to pay this month (which we will pay in full) so lots of demands for our cash.

My little one has not been well but seems to be improving after a few days home.

Money shuffle done for the month.  Will need to go into OD this month but things should start to get easier. I need to remind myself we are on the back of paying thousands for a remortgage and BTL. This month we have car Mot, car ins and treatment costs... So with all that maybe we are doing OK.

    I hope everyone is well.

Don't hide away, utilise our support to get you through.

I'm impressed with the cost of work and how much it saved you.

Would you be able to have a week free of O/T a month, replenish your energy levels a bit. It's not forever and things will settle again soon.

Thanks MF... I do need to stop hiding when things are not going well.

Yes I am stopping OT for a while now as don't want any additional pressure with my treatment coming up xx
