    Hi MF,

Thank you for your message. You are right, it will grow and with every month my net worth increases as the mortgage drops. We are close to 50%ltv which us a massive mile stone.

Unfortunately atm I am unable to take anytime off. I took some off for treatment which was lovely but need to save it for school hols etc when family members unable to help.

I hope you are OK x

    Hello,

OH didn't get his job, he was unsure if it was for him after the interview anyway tbh so may be for the best.

Boys off for Easter hols now but not much change for us regarding work other than the bank Hol Friday for me.

We have booked a day trip somewhere on one of my days off but we have an annual pass so won't cost us anything other than maybe an ice cream.

Money is going OK for the month, have money put aside for some birthdays coming up and dentist.

Looking at bunk beds for the boys and seen some in the sale which will save around 50.

Everything happens for a reason and they'll be a better role popping up.

There's a great choice of beds for kids now, enjoy finding the right one.

Day trip sounds good, take a picnic and have ice cream for pudding, savour the family day and plan another for the next BH.

    Hello ladies,

I'm braving posting as it's been a while, money situation has not been great but moving towards a better place.  We decided to book a family holiday which has cost quite a bit and it is now all paid for, so just looking forward to going although be nice to loose some weight first.

I am in a place where I need to start my cosy blanket from scratch which is a scary prospect but I have been here before and got to a better place.

It's the summer hols for the boys so it's been nice to spend somerime with them but does mean OT options are reduced for the time being. I will pick that back up in September.

Mortgage is now 131860 so we own half the house, I asked hubby if he preferred downstairs or upstairs and he said down so I like to imagine we own that bit.

I hope you are all doing well. I certainly do worry about posting when financially I may not have made what people will se as the wisest choice but know that you are only really here to help.

Hope you are all. OK x

It's ok to unpick the blanket if it's not working and start again.
Where are you off too 😊

I was going to say colours. The first one was a practice run, get you in the swing of creating squares.

Very nice! I'm looking forward to hearing about it 😊
