  • Things can only get better, even if it's managing his health and not a 'cure', it makes a huge difference x

OMG how much stress have you gone through? Your poor son i hope he is feeling better and that he is going to be given help to be as healthy as possible. Then all this building work which is stressful and the worry about the rent on top of Coronavirus. My goodness you are coping with an awful lot v well.

Thanks SW it does get to me at times but I know we will get through it if we just keep going and look for positives along the way.
I was supposed to get a call yesterday re my sons daily meds and where I could get them from. They didn't call but did say its not one of the most readily available drugs so couldn't give me some to take away on Friday. I will call them tomorrow as its vital he gets them to stop him having another flare up but obviously appreciate the stress everyone is under. Thankfully atm he is well and we had a little outing to the park today although it was bitter so didn't stay out long.
The next bit of the work in the other house needs to be with a different trades person so we are trying to sort that atm and hubby is looking to put down some flooring himself. We have had to take some money out of the EF to pay for the work which is a bit disheartening but we are lucky it is there to use and that I started to see the light around having this in place just in time. We will rebuild it and it's not all gone, I put money into it this month which could of just been put aside for the work and we haven't used all of this month's addition at this point.
I'm back to work tomorrow after a few days off and not looking forward to it but going to just do what I can and remain as positive as possible.
Hope you are all staying well.

  • Hope the meds get sorted out.

Borrowing money from yourself is a better way of accessing a 'loan', worst case is you lose interest, better than paying it. The money will get topped up again.

Thank you, we will get there even if it does seem a bit slow atm. A little frustrating that I can't focus the funds to get under the next 10k bracket for the mortgage but it will mean more when we get to that point I guess.

  • It hurts, it's upsetting, it's annoying, it's frustrating, it's disappointing and always feels like two steps backwards.

When these things happen, I always treat them as a test of my patience / resolve. Overcome them, become much stronger and work a plan to avoid it happening again or form a plan to be prepared for next time.

Then when it does happen again, or something else happens, it flies straight overhead without the feelings.

    Have some virtual flowers 💐
