I read my meters on 6th December, which I provided to YE (like normal), then I had the SOLR email on 7th, so provided the same readings to SP. I therefore can't be sure where SP got my opening meter reading from, me or YE

Have you got your new account number (reference in your SP direct debit)?0 -
I started a transfer to another supplier, I was only electricity. Had a phone call trying to get me to stay. Was told could find a better deal than the YE transfer.
Told them I was leaving because of their poor customer service rating. Caller said that was news to her, so I told her where to look.0 -
Sms from SP 'we're sorry to see you go'.
:) Can it be that really easy? Green energy seem to be on the ball!

I have just received an SMS from SP also saying sorry to see you go, nothing else from them though.
When I log in to my account it says my electricity is going (Neon Reef) but no mention of the gas (Zog). Strangely all the times I have logged in before it only ever mentioned gas.
I was fortunate that I am only 1 months DD in credit with YE because I had them refund all of my outstanding credit when I read the Sky News article saying they were in trouble.0 -

I initiated a switch for dual fuel to utility point (with referral) yesterday. I noticed on my account today, it's written that sorry to see your electricity go. Cannot lower my direct debit but still can enter meter readings for both leccy n gas. Haven't received any text and call yet. Hopefully the switch goes through smoothly. UP has given the date for switch as 28th Jan and the DD to UP goes out same day. The SP DD goes out on 1st Feb as per their website. They have created a bill of £102 after I submitted meter readings on 31st Dec. Will wait n see🤞🤞I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T1

Told them I was leaving because of their poor customer service rating. Caller said that was news to her, so I told her where to look.I spotted on Western Power that my supplier had changed to SP overnight so I reactivated the login for a deemed account we inherited when we moved into this house.Several things were wrong such as my and house name were misspelled, phone no. changed. You can't change the a/c holder's name online, so I tried the 0800 number. Got through to someone straight away who was really friendly in welcoming me to SP, and very proficient in updating the details and linking the defunct account to the new SolR one.He said that, as the database was now all sorted, I was free to change SP tariff or switch supplier. So I feel a little bit guilty that I did start the switch to Neon Reef as soon as the call ended.
