    Did they tell you a new account number when you spoke to them? Maybe you need to register a new online account with such a number?
    Yes I did that, but logging with the new details brings up the old account, under my wife's name! The reply to my online query to SP was
    " A few details are yet to update on your account, and we are waiting for that only. Hence, I request you not to setup an online account now or submit readings online as it might not reflect all the details correctly. Once it is done, we will send you a confirmation email."
    - which flatly contradicts what I had previously been told in the phone call. I'll give them another few days.
    *EDIT - just heard from Neon Reef; transfer problem sorted and should complete by the end of Jan.

    Has anyone owed their YE credit heard a peep from SP yet?

    No.  YE need to generate final bills first.  And that timescale is out of SP's control.  Once YE generate a final bill, the credit balance will be known and the information passed to SP.

    A lot of us who gave SP meter readings on 7th December did see those readings show up on the YE account, so YE should have the data they need.

    No, but last time I switched suppliers it was 6-8 weeks so I didn't expect to yet. Shame though, SP will take payment at some point and I hope it's just one payment in Jan and not a double one to cover the December energy too.

    Started my switch on the 5th Jan and have not heard a thing from SP 
    My account page shows the sorry to see your leaving but no details  of DD or meter readings, there was before I switched DD details and a suggestion I lowered my DD, my elec meter readings was shown but not the gas
    Checking my new suppliers (Avro) seems everything is going ahead on the switch

    I'm sure things will go ahead just fine. I applied to switch to Green.energy on 30 December and my electricity switched over on 7 January and the gas is due to switch on 16 January. Currently the SP account page just says 'We're sorry to see your gas go.'. There is no useful information at all on my account page - no messages, no balance, nothing. There are no options I can change either. Roll on 16th and I can be rid of them!

    My gas supplier switched to SP last week, yet electricity is still YE. Am I the only one with YE still showing as my supplier?
    It might be that SP will take over as they were saying in the app when I just installed it - on the 15th of January, even though they changed it to the 6th of December 2020 later. Whenever I contact them, I get "your account will be set up fully as soon as we can" with no indication as to how long "as soon as we can" is, of course. It's been over a month now  since they've received my details.

    My switch to Avro seems to be continuing.  Not heard a thing from them since before the new year when I started the switch and they sent me a welcome pack saying it would happen on 21st and they will take the first payment on 11th (which they have done today).  So I assume its all going ahead.....but I haven't had anything from SP saying sorry to see you go like others seem to have had via sms.  In fact I've heard nothing what so ever from SP since the original email asking for readings and the notification they set up a direct debit.
