Just received a welcoming email fromSP and requesting meter and direct debit details.
Edit-
Bizarrely, the field for DD amount- it said tonic energy. Although it gave me the YE account number when I entered my details.I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0 -
Yes just got an email saying they are ceasing and will change to scottish power . Bad news as they were very good price wise. Will Scottish power be the same price per month ?0

Just been onto SP site and done a tariff lookup...had to do a quote and also get Elec and Gas separately but Energy Exclusive does appear as the last tariff in the quotes and for me (Hampshire) the tariffs are:
Electricity
Unit rate. 15.858p per kWH
SC 20.33p per day
Gas
Unit Rate 2.898p per kWH
SC. 23.33p per day
Havent crunched the figures yet but 20%+ higher on Leccy by the look of it, Gas not soo bad
EDIT
Just done them...about £230 a year more (+20%)
Elec £147 +24%
Gas. £84 +15%Definitely switching as soon as account set up to avoid issues2 -
To see the tariff rates I did the following:
Goto Energy, Our Tariffs from main menu.Energy Exclusive Online shows in middle on top row of tariffs
Choose View Tariff Information Labels
Then it asks for postcode and drop down selections to choose Fuel, Meter Type, Payment Method and Online Tariff. Then hit View Tariffs. Exclusive Energy Online is bottom of available tariffs list. Then use View to to the right of the tariff to see details (Have to do Elec and Gas quotes separately )
Hope that helps4 -

You will not be on the same tariff as you were with YE. SP have set up an "Energy Exclusive" tariff for YE customers. The details of the tariff have not been made public yet. Ofgem have described it as "competitive" as have Scottish Power. Although remember that YE were a bargain basement tariff company, SP are not, so the new tariff is almost certainly more expensive.
You will be free to switch away from SP. Advice from Ofgem is not to start a switch now, but to wait until at least your SP account is up and running.1 -

I'm sure they're keen to get our bank details as soon as possible!
I haven't received anything yet but I guess the emails are being sent out gradually rather than all at once.0 -
No emails for me as yet but if SP have already set up an 'Exclusive Energy' tarriff for YE customers, they clearly have set the pricing structure. Brewerdave has said anyone initiating a switch now will fail so time will tell on this. I along with my neighbour have already done our homework and have started our switch proceedings. The welcome pack from both Companies has arrived so we will just have to wait and see. I urge you to look at different suppliers as in most cases, it turns out to be cheaper than dual fuel and like Mr Tesco keeps telling us, every little helps!!!
