I've just had an email from YE notifying me of my final bill and £252 credit balance. My SP £106 balance DD gets taken tomorrow, timing eh? Guess I'll just have to wait for my cheque along with all you others.

If you don't cancel the DD it should get paid direct to your bank a/c - that's what it says in my "My Account", so time will tell.

One or two people reported receiving their YE credit last week and having their final DD taken this week. I'd be interested to know if the DD payment amount was reduced vs what was in their final bill to reflect the credit added to their account.

Had my final YE bill overnight, readings used all correct and now have £249.odd to txfer to SP......no final bill from SP yet, but after one DD and the YE credit they'll owe me around £100. Just need to wait now for the credit to be applied to SP account, and make sure they (SP) don't foul up the final bill.....

I've had a final bill from Scottish Power. Strangely it is only for gas and not electric. They have credited the bill with my closing credit from YE, thus reducing the final gas bill.  

I expect that they haven't billed my electric, as they claim not to have my start and end readings for this service. (Despite being given the information twice)

Scottish Power took my DD today after my final bill on 11th February. The final DD was reduced to account for YE credit.

11th Feb: SP Final Bill £102.44. To be collected by DD 24th Feb. 
18th Feb: £36.07 YE credited to SP account. Online account shows £66.37 debit balance.
24th Feb: SP Final DD collected £66.37.

Yes its been slow, and the comms could have been better, but SP have got everything right. Yes I know I'm lucky that the YE timescales worked out for me.

I have had my final bill from Yorkshire Energy. Not sure when my £216  will be credited to my Scottish Power
  account. Glad I waited from switching immediately as I shall be switching to the new So Energy deal as in the latest newsletter. In my opinion its a fantastic deal and in no way is there anything as good out there at all. The only problem is I am in debit with S.P. and I am worried the deal will not go through. I think I shall pay S.P. to make sure the deal goes through. It should be easy to get refunded from S.P.

So 11weeks, 4 days since YE's demise. I'm owed £506 in credit. Heard nothing. I've contacted  help@ye.co.uk , today via email but all I get is a 'bot' email which doesn't help my specific case. I'd just happened to read the meters on the 5/12 and had a generated bill that day so I would have thought sorting out my account would be straightforward.
Still awaiting SP getting the gas start reading correct. They wanted 10-14 days to do this. I used to work in  IT so there's something really wrong with their systems if it takes this long. If it's not correct next week (they'll have had 2 weeks) I will definitely raise a complaint.
I understand that I mustn't take any more readings now before I leave SP next month as that can cause issues. I'll be glad to move away. Is this really so difficult to get meter readings correct?

In fact I've just had a response from the YE Team to say that they're working as fast as they can, processing accounts in batches, as we know.
I'll just have to await my turn.
