Not a great deal has happened flying wise here, Heading into town a bit earlier than I need for my lesson as hoping shops might not be too busy and I could do with a few stocking fillers.
Bins go out tonight and pleased to report they are full!7 -
Work done. School / driving practice done. Which numpty forgot to turn the sc on??! I have just switched it on high and thrown the meat in, in the hope that there might still be time for a dinner in the making.
Small town was heaving. Enough said.6 -
My lost phone is at work; I (eventually) had an email.
Kitchen cleaned and steam mopped. Bathroom cleaned. Need to mop up there.
Ironing put away; maiden put away.

Hello xx
Where did this week go? Paid stuff dominates and the house is upside down as DS and GF prepare for the big move tomorrow. I'm keeping out of the way and will attempt to restore some semblance of order at the weekend.
I've had my flu jab today - the first time I've taken advantage of the offer at work; with the covid situation and turning 60 this year I thought it prudent.
Flying has been minimal- very full bin and recycling boxes have been emptied today though, so something has been done.
When I return home after work tomorrow it will be the beginning of a new chapter. Keep reading lol.

So today I have cleaned kitchen, bathroom, hall, stairs and landing, vacuumed DR, LR and bedrooms. Taken bag of donations for food bank inc, some PTA stuff that cannot be used due to Covid and some cat food at which a nose was turned up. I collected flea tablet and administered same. Receipts checked and shredded, stuff filed, DR and LR tidied. Recycling bins went out but more has been found. House looks loved. DW and WM are set. No pots are unwashed.
I might even be able to start Christmas tasks this weekend!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I've been pretty busy with paid stuff too. Have made myself an enormous list of what I want to achieve this weekend and practically none of it is direct flying .....but if I get on top of it all I'll have time to fly and can stop my usual 1st week in Dec panic "I love Christmas but I've too much to do and I'll miss it!!".
Actually being at uni swabbing and spraying stuff between students has been pretty fly-like. Mr N is making a grand job of keeping 'home' flying under control.
Uni has said that now most of the going-home-for-Christmas students have been tested, staff can now have a Covid test if they work student-facing, so I've booked mine for next week. Will be reassuring as although I do have a couple of days work with students before the Christmas break, I'm going to try and keep away from humanity other than Mr N before we go down to my Mum. Mr N went to see his mum today; indoors this time - just as well, as it was splatty cold rain outside - behind a screen.
This evening we watched a depressing Zoom meeting by the planners/architects etc who are going to build "Village 7" on our doorstep i.e. the fields behind the church and part of the area I go running in.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
Morning all
Just checking in quickly, need to get my exercise done and ready for the paid stuff. Been madly busy at work, house is tidyish but there is very little actual cleaning getting done at the moment.
Will catch you all later - another week gone!6 -
Morning xx
I expected to be in the WAC last night and I was. I did it to myself: I realised it was the last time that DS would say 'Night Mammy' as I passed his bedroom door on my way to bed. And breathe....silly Mammy 🤪
Paid stuff for me today. A whole fanload has hit this week but I'm well out of it in my new office. It doesn't involve me and it's staying that way. And breathe ... and duck!!!
Tonight I will either flop or fly - at the very least I will write a list. My bed is made. I've put the laundry hamper in my bedroom as every thing else piled on the landing is leaving the house - and I had visions of the dirty laundry taking an unexpected journey.
My lunch is packed. I will feed the birds before I go and everything else can wait. And breathe... right where did I put that New Home card...and breathe!!!

Sorry for the lists only being put up today, I got a bit caught up in the tidying of the living room before decorating the tree today. Then went straight to bed as I was so shattered... Anyway today's list is up and it's a catchy up dayMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️
