Good afternoon!
A lazy start for me today. I had a lie in, copied up with my kitten 🥰 He has been with us 2 weeks today and has well & truly settled in! He loves a cuddle, but also loves to play. The children love him!
I am up & dressed (well, sort of - I wouldn't go out as I am, but I am decent! 😂). Laundry has been sorted into piles and WM is swishing. I have made a little list, but I don't feel very motivated. I may also need to pop into town 😱 I ought to start Christmas shopping!! 😂
Round 1
Put on TD
WM 2
Empty DW
Shredding
Ok - off I go!6 -
Thank you for the hugs asb xx They worked their flylady magic
Friend's husband is going over next weekend to sort out the aerial for DS. In the meantime they should be able to watch Netflix - as long as the Broadband works - flylady posivibes requested please. I'm prepared to beg if necessary!
Round 4 =
unload WM

I haven't posted for a while but just wanted to say Roundit has your DS set the time on the oven? That's more than likely not the problem but mine won't work unless the time is set
I'm off to clean the kitchen, I had no idea that amount of mess could happen from just making sandwiches6 -
Lots of posivibes coming your way, Round x
ASB, I’ve been reading along with your frugal living, and I am in awe and trying to take inspiration from you x. I also signed up to Olio but there isn’t anything around here. I guess it doesn’t help that the nearest supermarkets are at least 12 miles away.
Round 2 completed:
Downstairs dusted and vacuumed
Wrapping paper, ribbon and tissue paper found from stash
Leftovers made into lunch
Freezer contents rejigged
DH on phone to his cousin. I’m hoping that we might be able to shift some boxes of toys in that direction for cousin’s DGD.7 -
Afternoon all
Well the house is tidy and much cleaner now, DH has been a great help again as my dodgy hip is v painful, I’ve still got the laundry shuffle to do but that can be done when the TD finishes. For now I think it’s read a book time.
More hugs heading your way round and anyone else who needs them.
Take care all xx7 -
Funny you should say that Lozzy88 because when DS sent me a video of the cooker I said they should set the time and see if that worked. Oh no, that wasn't the problem. Have you tried it? No because that's not the problem. Sooo- I have phoned DS and suggested that they set the time on the oven because a flylady has pointed out that her oven won't work if the time isn't set. Oh right, they'll try it then. It may not be the problem but I will get a great sense of satisfaction if it is because maybe then GF they might listen to me in future. I told them the solution to the heating / water problem was open an account with the current supplier to the house at 4pm. Oh no GF they didn't want to do that. Eventually DS took over, did what I said and got it sorted....hours later.
At least GF did listen when I said you can send me your washing until you get the washer plumbed in. DS brought her work uniform over to take the pressure off trying to get it washed and dried for Monday when the washer isn't being plumbed in until tomorrow. After a hug, a coffee and a heart to heart chat, I sent him back with half the contents of my fridgeErm fer-ling???? lol
