Thanks bunny 19 and all who have contributed to this sorry saga.  I emailed the bank statement yesterday with the transactions removed.  Spotted that my customer ID was displayed on it so  removed that too. I asked them to acknowledge receipt and confirm submission was acceptable.  No reply as yet.  Will post any developments.  They had sent a reminder on 10 May  stating that 17 May was last date for ATM refund after which funds could  only be redeemed via email which could take 28 days.  I wonder if there will be anyone reading them.  Good luck with the refunds

Good luck. Likewise, I've had no acknowledgement. I was not prepared to lose nearly 10% by withdrawing money from an ATM because of the charges from the bank.  The balloon will go up from Monday (or later) when tourists try to use their cards in Europe, having missed or ignored the e-mails. I can't believe there has been so little fuss so far.

I’m still waiting for my refund. I was told that they had “lifted” the funds from my account on 8th April  and it would take up to 28 “working” days to refund my money to me. So this means I should receive it next week sometime. I’m a little more optimistic now after hearing that Bunny19 has received his/hers! I’ll let you all know. Incidentally I emailed a copy of the front page only of my bank statement showing my bank details on 24th March.

Sorry just noticed it was Wombatkeeper who had already received the refund and not Bunny19! Sorry for the confusion!

Received no response to my email including request for acknowledgement so emailed again.  Have now received a reply saying refund should arrive within 28 days.  As stated previously, I deleted transactions from the bank statement but they have accepted this.  Will post developments.  It seems genuine but rather haphazard.  Good luck everyone

Well I’m still waiting for my refund! I’ve emailed again several times, asking for the name of the company issuing these refunds and what their complaints procedure is. No response to any emails. Can anybody  tell me how to report this. EasyJet obviously don’t want to have anything to do with this

Easyjet have wiped their hands of this. It's tricky because, while their name was on the card, the bank was the provider, and they had previously passed it to Wirecard, where it all stopped with their problems. It's now gone to PayrNet,  a subsidiary of Railsbank,  who I copied into my last e-mail. They replied promptly and explained the requirement for proof of the bank account (no need to transaction  details). On that basis, I confirmed I wanted a bank transfer and haven't reached the 28 day mark yet. On day 29, I shall go back to FCSA and media. A couple of the newspapers do good money issue pages.
I'll update if I hear anything else.

Bunny19. Thank you for this. I’m well over the 28 “working” days that I was quoted, so I shall be contacting the FCA now.

FOS not FCA, FCA don't deal directly with complaints from consumers

I've now made an official complaint to Railsbank. If I get no joy from that, then I shall officially complain to the Financial Ombudsman.
