In my opinion and hearing people's reviews about it... I say Easy-Jet itself is in trouble so I don't think it's a surprise wire-card or no wire-card.

Despite their email of 21 May advising that relevant documents had now been raised to their head office team and promising refund would be processed within 28 working days I have now received another email again promising refund within 28 days. Something definitely not right. Has anyone out there recently received anything apart from an unkept promise?0

No. 28 days yesterday. I mailed to remind it was imminent and again yesterday. Banking Ombudsman site is worth a look. Time for a change of tack.

I now know the delayal tactics ste deliberate to ensure an interest free loan to Easyjet. I have been given a (new) reason for not being reimbursed, which I won't detail here, but it could have been resolved easily months ago. They still are refusing to return funds to my personal account from which all card deposits were made. How difficult is that? Nothing in my accounts or personal circumstances have changed. Totally disgraceful.

Any luck anyone? I emailed them again yesterday but not such much as an autoresponse.0

After a further email they have now replied asking for the card number so that they can trace the account. This is after them having acknowledged receipt of the necessary documentation and two promises on 21 May and 6 June that funds were being raised and would be in my account within 28 days. Disgraceful delaying tactics. Has anyone got any money back?0

I had the Daily mail to enquire about this as I too have had no joy on a refund, they say the a firm called Omnio is responsible for managing the card and a firm called PayNet Ltd look after the funds. Omnio said there was a backlog of requests and the funds are now in my account. No they are not so Omnio are telling lies. I have now complained to the Financial ombudsman who have contacted Omnio. Lets see what happens as they have 8 weeks to reply.0

Result finally got my refund thanks to the ombudsman0

Has anyone had any luck with this company? I am waiting for a refund of $1347 that was made to an expired FairFX card, the refund was made on 6th August, Omnio and FairFX confirmed the funds had been lifted and there was no backlog anymore and I would be refunded within 28 days. Over 28 days has passed now and still no refund. I am waiting for this money to pay for my mums funeral costs, I have attempted to contact Omnio every day this week and am getting no reply to my emails! All FairFX say is they are continuing to chase it! I’m at my wits end as I really need this money now! I have made a complaint to the financial ombudsman but am having to consider taking out a payday loan to cover the funeral costs now!0
