I do that thriftlady. I love having a fridge full of fresh food. I'm worst with fruit so I've started adding fruit to my organic box in a hope to stop myself buying out of season fruit that looks pretty!£4000 challenge
Currently leftover - £3872.150 -
afternoon all
Well its 3.20, and I've had a hot bath and got my jammies on , have not done much at all today, hoovered through, and mopped floors (can't relax untill this is done), got some tummy pains coming now, so having a sit down and a cuppa before DD gets dropped off by my mum, got sausages and sort of dauphinoise (sp) for tea, layered onion garlic, potatoes, tomatoes in a baking dish with a HM white sauce, with wine and mustard, and cheese on top, so will just shove both in oven at 4 ish, veg is done so nice and easy.
Nicola, nice to see you back, keep us posted about the baby x
dlb hope your ds feels better soon.
thriftlady :rotfl: :rotfl: have you really got no money for tampons  .
I must admit I am quite the opposite, I take it as a challenge to use up all the food in fridge/freezer before I get the next food delivery, don't like to have too much hanging around. I like the emptiness of the fridge on a thursday morning, and I like filling it up again on a thursday night (bit strange)
Anyhoo hugs to all
Amie, are you ok ? xx0 -
Afternoon everyone
well I got a clean bill of health (for me anyhow) from the nurse I just have to watch one of the scars/cuts as it's not as good as she would have liked
went into town with dh and got soaked but I've only got one pressie left to buy and then only the fresh food
I do have to get the cards written and posted but that won't take long
now I'm going for a soak in a nice hot bath
see you later
pam xxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you
I am one of the English sexy Shelias
I'm also a hussy0 -
Glad to hear that things are pretty good mrs mix. Just be careful for a bit longer:D
thriftlady Can this be the same shining example to us all, who managed on wartime rations:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: See what all those cookbooks do, I'm glad I'm not copying you anymore;) Hope you rustle up a few more pennies, or you'll be using folded up rags just like wartime. Or maybe you'll be pregnant and not need anything:eek:  Only joking:D
redruby, hope you're feeling better soon.
nicola, how lovely to hear from you. Glad everything is going so well:D
Well about an hour ago I remembered that I'm going out with some girlfriends tonight:eek:  Ho hum, I've been out in the drizzle and my hair is all lovely and frizzy:mad: Now do I wash it again or just fry it with some straighteners? Won't be a very late night as they are all lightweights:rotfl: Still it should be a giggle, if an early finishing one.
Off to start beautifying myself (no giggling at the back) I'm being picked up at 6.30, so I'll need every minute for polyfilla and warpaint;)
