Morning All
N9eav - grounding was definately needed, I like the way teenages seem to think we are stupid - they do forget we were like that once and I personally do know some of the tricks I got up to.
Happy Birthday to Mstr Moiliere
Joannasmum - have a fantastic time.
DD just gone to school but DS home again, is thick with cold but has tummy pains as well, was talking to a lady who works at his school yesterday who said its really hot in there and the kids are dropping like flies.
BGas man has ordered our part for the boiler which wont be here till 14/12 - fingers x'd it stays working till then. At least it will be in perfect working order for Xmas. - Have another problem though - we appear to have a leaky pipe which is in false wall which is now in a cupboard in the kitchen! Will be major to have it sorted but it has to be done - will start phoning the builder tonight - takes at least a week of phone calls before he gets back to us.
Right moaning over, vitually finished horrible filing job yesterday - will take about 10 mins to finish in a minute. Just updating bank & accounts as main client paid today!!! actually on time. Then will be upstairs ironing until its done. Hopefully find something nice to watch on sky but have some stuff sky+'d if not.
Sausages and mash for tea.
Have a great day.0 -

Hello everyone
I'm ill today! Off sick from work for the 2nd day Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow though.
Not much OS going on here-I got my pressie from my parents on Friday, a tumble dryer! So we've been catching up with the washing, then all it'll be used for is sheets and towels, as we struggle to dry those in the flat. Getting on top of it will be part of my master plan, hahahahahaaha. I will take over the world!
This weekend I'm hoping to get some baking done and get on top of the housework and presents so that I can get some decorating done in the holidays!
Have a good day everyone x

Well I think I spoke to soon about returning to work, have taken DD to station, and could have cried on the way home, felt totally wiped out, it was as much as I could do to drive, got home and the WM had finished, so had to hang all the bedding up, it felt like climbing a mountain , will wait for my shopping to come, then rest for the day. Just phoned my mum, who will collect DD from station and bring her home, what would I do without my mum ?
Oh has said he will prepare dinner, but will see how i feel.
Have good days xx
Thriftlady, do you work at the blind college in hereford? my uncle is a taxi driver there, and often talks about picking people up from there xx0 -
Morning!
Grey and very wet here, oh well, it's better than snow:rolleyes:
Happy birthday Mioliere's DS. Pen Pen my DS3 is definitely tomorrow:rotfl: :rotfl:
Joannasmum have a lovely time! What a treat:D
Had a phone call from DS1 (lives in Canada) They're just moving from rented to a bought place. Woke up to snow, had to dig themselves out of their house, then when they got to the new house they've just bought (had to have a two week overlap, so they're taking their time moving in) they had to dig their way in!!!!! Makes me grateful for our weather conditions;)
Today I must get a birthday card for DS3 and wrap his presents. Also must grill DS4 for what his GF would like for Christmas. I've suggested half a dozen things he's been lukewarm about so now it's over to him to come up with something:D Then it's make a chocolate hedgehog cake. Despite being an adult he'll have no embarrassment about having that as his birthday cake:rolleyes:
Oh well, quick look round while I finish my tea, then onwards and upwards as my mum used to say!! (what on earth does that really mean:rotfl: )

Churchmouse...I'm getting worried. Last week you were toasting your husband and now you want to grill your DS4  Ladies I think we have a serial cannibalist on the board.
Nels...I hope you managed to peel yourself out of your spandex last night.
Pen Pen....You really should post even when it's only drivel. I promise I wouldn't notice.
Talking of drivel...Why aren't you posting Pink?
Aussie....Do you want me to send you a DVD of the twirly man in his tight pants?
I've had a busy morning. Hung out 2 loads of washing, got girls to school, tidied kitchen, loaded DW, made beds and cleaned out the fire. Now I'm off to work for a rest.
Need to parcel up some presents when I get home and finish making my cards. I'm hoping to convince OH to write them for me this year. I have a feeling I have a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding.
Pork chops out of the freezer for tea. I'm trying a low carb diet on the advice of my neurologist. Apparently it will help with glycogen storage but I'm just starving all the time. I'd like to shift a few pounds but no more than that as I look like a Belsen victim when I lose weight so we'll see how it goes.
Best get to work
Take care all

:rotfl: :rotfl: I thought that was the essence of OS, NEVER waste a food source;)
As for getting your DH to write cards, if you manage it, let me know how please. Mine could barely write the cards for his work colleagues, let alone friends or family. :rolleyes:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
