Oh nuts, meal planner has just gone out of the window - was going to do leek & bacon bake and sausages for dinner, but the sausages are use before 5/12 - what does everyone think, to cook or not to cookYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0

Charlies mum,
Just eat them......quickly! Before Churchmouse sees this post! Her favourite soap box is about use by dates.
Seriously though, I would think they'll be fine...if they smell and look ok then I'd eat them.

Thanks I will give them a sniff, and cook if they are OK.
I might not come in here tomorrow, and then you'll spend all day worrying that I have food poisoningYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

Do they look and smell ok? If they have been kept in the fridge, i would use them, its only one day and stores tend to be cautious about use by dates to protect themselves, rather than us!!!0 -

Morning all. Not been around for a while because I've been scarily busy!! I'm now 33 weeks pregnant and going in to hospital to have my stitch removed on the 19th December. Very excited! All the nursery is set up, baby's clothes washed and labour bag packed and ready. I've started flylady to get the house in order ready for the baby's arrival and the house is looking better and better by the day. I also applied for teacher training and got an interview which is on the 13th! So I'm preparing for that too.
I don't think I've ever been this organised in my life which is nice - the problems I had really made me sit up and sort things out. I'm now confident my baby is going to have a lovely stable home to live in. I've even started meal-planning again which is such a money saver!
Anyway good to be able to read what you're all up to again. Hugs to everyone£4000 challenge

Hi all,
mioliere, Happy birthday to your ds.
dlb, belated Happy Birthday to your dd, I hope she had a great day!
joannasmum, have a great time in Disney.
mrs mix, I hope all goes well with the nurse.
taplady, congratulations on your weight loss!
Aussie, keep us up to date with your garden…I’m missing being out in mine now it’s cold and wet.
Pen Pen, Haribo has not got your dusters! Go and do what you have to do!
catowen, Enjoy your day off.
Essex girl, I hope your ds feels better soon.
Nazini, Rest up today and hopefully you’ll feel well enough to go back tomorrow.
redruby, take it easy.
nicola, Glad to hear is well with you. Sounds like your nesting instinct has really kicked in.
Well, I had planned to go shopping this morning but it was such a horrible wet, grey morning that I changed my mind and decided to tackle the house instead. Now of course, the sun has come out but I can’t leave the house as it is, because my idea of cleaning involves pulling everything out and I couldn’t face coming back to it looking like this. So I’ll just have to get on with it.
My kids love Knorr chicken noodle soup but I can’t help feel it doesn’t have much goodness in it… so I had a go at making it myself yesterday. They loved it and all three have taken flasks to school for lunch today. I know Winter is here when I’m filling three flasks at 7am. Stew for tea tonight is bubbling away in the slow cooker. The only thing I enjoy about winter is the rib sticking food.
I have to call the man about the front door again today as I managed to get stuck in the porch again last night and it took Mr Pink 15 minutes to hear me yelling this time. It was absolutely freezing.:o
Right, I’d better get on….
I hope you’re all having a good day.
Pink0
