Morning everyone,
Had a nice time with DGS at his music/dance morning. He was very shy so didn't really participate all that much although he is getting braver. Got home around lunch. DH was home. He had to go to the specialist today so he could go through his scans before Monday. The abyss has eroded a lot of bone in his mouth and he will need a bone graft. Still not sure how many teeth they will take but he'll be toothless for a while.
Had an argument with OS this arv. But that's quite normal for us. He just rang again and we had another spat. Went out in the yard and did some work but it's pretty humid out there. Leftovers for tea tonight.
Moiliere Best wishes to your DYS. My baby is 23.
Mrs Mix :santa2:I hope the wound has healed well.

morning all,
DD is going back to school today after ear infection, so will drop her at station, and then come back and do a few light jobs, still can't do anything too heavy, so will take it easy. Got one load of washing to put through, which will dry on rads again.
Sainsbugs delivery coming at 10, got sausages and bits for tea, have leftover pots onion, garlic and a carrot, might do dauphinoise (sp) and hide the carrot in, DD hates carrots
Might attempt going back to work tomorrow, will see how I feel.
Mrs Mix good luck with the nurse
n9eav, i would have done exactly the same if it was my DD, 10'oclock
Kathy, happy birthday to your baby , missed you on here yesterday.
JOANNASMUM have a good time
will be popping in later xx0 -
Morning everybody,
Like Scuzz I'm off to a farm shop this morning. I shall buy apples (4lb bags for £1.50) and veg and probably milk and cream too. They also stock posh tinned goods and spices. I don't usually buy these but I'm after some authentic smoked paprika. I'll also call at our butcher and stock up on sausagemeat -I have to make loads of sausage rolls on Christmas Eve, I think it was Delia's fault, she suggested it and now it has become a tradition. I'm also going to my local Waitrose too, expensive I know but not as bad as you might think and the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable (have I spelt that right ?), the aisles are uncluttered and it is always less busy than Tesco.
So, a morning of food shopping planned -my favourite thing:D
I think I'll do a pasta dish for dinner -not sure what yet.
Have a good day all.0 -

:eek:Morning All - won't say good with the weather as it is at forecast to be wet and horrible the next week!
This site certainly seems to behaving badly for me, and some inconsistencies. i.e. 16 of us by 7.18 and no more at 8.04?
Washing and ironing kept up to date dlb!  - nice idea but with a poorly washer:mad: current offer of initial visit of a man who can (or can't as the case may be) next Tuesday, and then it will be well I haven't go the part for this I'll come back next week. I know I have a lot of pants but 4 weeks is even stretching it too far.(TMI I know!)
Know exactly what you mean Jayward! though must admit partial to the odd glass of red wine.
Going to get the kitchen ceiling sorted today, so if kitchen fitter comes back we are ready for the final touches. Hope it is not too early next week as have side bedroom to empty, box and clear:eek:
(((hugs all round)))

Morning all,
It's pouring down here so I managed to persuade ds1 to wear his coat to the bus - although I'm going to have to get a bigger one. He's very slim and although he's just 12, wears a lot of 10-11 clothes - so I got a 13/14 coat - but it still barely fits over his very thick and wooly blazer.
Kids and dh have salami, tomato and pecorino calzones today for lunch - I made foccacia to go with dinner last night and used half the dough for lunches - I'm helping at the Mission cafe today so get a lunch there.
We're putting the tree up tonight - so traditionally have nibbly buffet tea at the same time - might make some mini hamburgers like on the M&S adverts:D - knew the annoying adverts had to be useful for something.
Last batch of parcels for the PO today - Hurray!
Joannas mum - haVE A LOVELY TIME
Ne9av - good for you:T - you must have been worried
PenPen - miss your posts when you're not here
Hugs to all who need one - off to take ds2 to school

Good morning everyone,
Not read the thread yet, so ((HUGS)) to everyone!!!
Another day off for me, which although lovely (going to take the children to school, then come home for a bath!!) does mean another day im not earning anything, which especially this time of year isnt good news. Luckily i am that annoying organised person who has completely finished her xmas shopping, and im now just waiting for the big day itself - will need to buy fresh fruit/veg/cream/cheese but that cant be bought until nearer the time. Do have a few christmas cards to give out still, but thats it!!!
Will do a bit of cleaning today, as i can hoover without upsetting any of the LOs, and i really do need to clean under my kitchen table, so if i do nothing else, i will do that today. (i do clean my kitchen floor everyday, its just under the table i struggle with).
WM with DDs bedding is about to finish, so will get that hung up before we leave for school - im then coming back for my breakfast (then the bath)!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0
