We have an A & C delivery that will be £33 next week. Also we will be getting Oddbox (we are likely near the edge of their delivery area but I was happy when I found that out) which will cost £9.99 for the large fruit and vegetable box. It's usually £19.99 for the large fruit and veg box but came across a £10 off any box code and thought it worth to try but if it is good will likely continue. I will put up the contents of the box when it arrives so if anyone is in the delivery area and thinking about it you can see what it is like.
So £42.99 already earmarked for next week going out.
The only potential downside is that you can’t return the boxes for reuse, but they are just cardboard so can be recycled or reused around the home. So yes, would recommend.Books read 2023 - 49/755 -
Well! I've gone way over this month, but a few bits are for Christmas. £393.69 so far with 8 days till pay day. We have been spending extra with our man John that lives with us as he has/is poorly. Yoghurts, tins of soup and full fat milk. I need to buy more soup( did like you homemade soup then changed his mind) . Oh well, we shouldn't need anything else. Happy days, keep safe everyone XMortgage free September 2021. Narrowboat brought October 2021

Would like to add 'don't shop tired' to the std 'don't shop hungry'!!!!
£159.78/£350 already 😱😱😱
So many different shops as well!
Greengrocers for some veg, local eco shop for refill milk and the best eggs I've found, lidl for std stuff and Tesco for the bits I can't get in Lidl.
The week's meals are fully planned but the freezer will be pretty much empty come the weekend so do need to make a meat order.
If I'm cautious I should make it as budget only goes to 21st this month. I've bought a few Christmas treats, which come out of a separate budget so it is just main food, plus at the In-laws for actual Christmas Dinner.

Think I forgot to post after my shop last week, so an update now after a small shop yesterday for some fruit and have spent just over £40 so far, leaving £213.86 for the rest of the month.

Oh joy!. Just got back from local shops, Lid! had their £1.50 fruit and veg boxes so snapped one up. Topped up a bit of salad whilst there and eggs. Spent £3.54.
Seeing if I can just use fridge, freezer and store cupboard contents instead of another Supermarket trip. Really want to come in under budget!!.
Total so far £69.54 so £20.46 left.5
