Went to 3 shops today, Lidl, Asda and B&M. Spent £65.30, which included the Turkey Crown, so one less thing to worry about as the big day gets closer. Hoping to get my fresh veg at the weekend, so shopping should be nearly over unless I suddenly see something that I didn't know I needed for Christmas! What I do not give, you must never take by force.

Looks like my attempt at posting earlier didn't "take" for some reason. I'm off into our December "allowance" to the tune of £23.34, having nipped to the farm shop for a sack of Desirée, one of mixed poultry corn and one of Layer's Mash, which should see both us & the birds well into the New Year, though they're going through a bit extra at the moment as they are also locked-down thanks to an avian flu outbreak - the current strain is not contagious to humans. I've also added £8.50 spent at the bakery (loaves in freezer) and £7.20 at the Co-op, replenishing the odd baking supplies that have got used up in the Lockdown Baking Mania that broke out in this household.Angie - GC Aug25: £106.61/£550 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)4

I'd like to be in for $500 USD. Groceries are at a 50 year high here in the US so budget needs a bump. I'll be pleased to come in at $600, however. That is perfectly doable.
$220.34/$500 spent.5 -
