Some items aren't returnable for hygiene reasons (earrings, for example, if unsealed) but this information will be in each retailers returns policy - always a good idea to check before you buy. It's ok to try things on for fit, even underwear as long as you try knickers on over the ones you're wearing and don't remove any hygiene strips. It's unusual for refunds not to be given unless someone has clearly worn an item then returned it.
The only thing I like/buy in primark are their short sleeved stretchy cotton "basics" tshirts, which are long in the body so tuck in nicely, wash well and are thin enough to wear under anything (they also last for years - I've got some which are probably a decade old).harrys_nan said:For Bras, have a look at Boob or Bust, use the measuring way that they use and then you will have a good starting place. Do not bother with M&S for a measuring service as their system is outdated, they add 4 inches to your underbust measurements, Boob and Bust also have a Facebook pageSavvy_Sue said:Going back to meeting his family, if you haven't yet ...
If one of my lads rocked up with a lass who'd dropped everything and flown across the pond to be with him, I'd assume they were 'serious' about each other. Where I'd go from there ....
I hope I'd resist asking if you were pregnant, and when you were getting married, and when you'd be producing grandchildren for me. Really, I do. But my MIL was not quite so restrained, and while she didn't get a chance to discuss wedding plans (we had a very short engagement fairly soon after she realised we were together) there were regular hints about babies.
And some mothers, if they find out he's given you his credit card, will hear alarm bells about your relationship.
But your boyfriend should have some idea what to expect, and it should be him who says 'back off' if needed.
I'm not claiming to be world's best Mum, but I HAVE held back from asking inappropriate questions of the youngest, who's about to buy a flat with his girlfriend. 😉 But goodness, I'm tempted! 🤣
I am paying him back in terms of his credit card. I hate owing close people money1 -
A DDD isn't a UK cup size, it goes - D, DD, E, F... So your measurement of a 34E is probably right.0

Another vote for Bravissimo - they have directions for measuring on the website but obviously an actual fitting is better, once it’s allowed again. The fitting service is really good. Also they do clothing under the Pepperberry label, properly designed for the more well endowed.0

I received my order yesterday and they are more comfortable than the ones I bought from Primark. They also feel much more sturdy.
My boyfriends mum has asked me to have a virtual coffee to get to know me better. I am a bit nervous to say the least!
