Oh your poor DH Sue-UU, I know how bad my DH was earlier this year, you feel so helpless, I do hope he is feeling better soon and they can give him something to relieve the pain. Hope you were able to enjoy the Wimbledon final
gripping stuff as always.
I so enjoyed attending the scan last week, our little GD is doing well, we were able to see how chubby she is getting now. Needless to say, I've come away with lots of photos. The pram shopping went well, even if DH and I did feel a bit bamboozled afterwards. Who knew prams/pushchairs had changed so much in 30 years!!!! We managed to buy a travel bundle for DS and put a deposit down on the same bundle for DD. 11 weeks to goA quieter weekend planned this week, nowhere to go, nothing to do.......
£10.13 in the pot this week, enjoy the sunny weather folks.

Hi to all SPCers!! Keep clear of any showers, and don't rely on the following week!Any of our dear members who are either ill or low in any way, please do take great care, and I sincerely hope you'll all soon be well and back with us. For now, take very good care of yourselvesHi Ant, such a shame about the match having to be won or lost by penalties, I'm not normally a footie lover at all, but hubby and I thought we'd watch. So sad it had be won/lost via penalties, I'm unable to ever consider either side winning or losing in those. I just wished we'd tried harder to get another goal in the second half. Italy's captain should have been sent off after the way he yanked what's his name's T-Shirt (you can tell I'm not a footie fan) round his neck!!The behaviour of some of our fans was absolutely disgraceful!!! 😡Back to tennis, a great match and although we'd been hoping for Djokovic, the way Berrettinni played throughout we didn't mind who won!! 🤗 I look forward to watching Berrettinni in the future, he's an excellent player, good temperament too!! 😀I quite agree with the SPC pottings having often been a Godsend for members when they've hit bad times!Good luck in getting to Wimbledon Ant, though if it's first come first served in future as it was this time, give it a go!!More potting can only be good for you, well done!!Hubby is a little better now thanks Ant, though it's a blighter when he doesn't feel too bad one day, then it all returns the next. Thankfully our middle Grandson Joey is home for the summer holidays (he's a PE teacher at a college near us) so at present he's talking our Jessie (black Labrador) out with our DDs golden retriever which is marvellous!! ☺️Look after yourself Ant.Very many thanks about my poor DH, Siju, a case of 1 step forward and 2 back at the moment I'm afraid. We go for a gentle walk now, we both get so pleased at having done so, but next day it's right back to the day before. We managed to get the x-rays done, so we'll have to see what the results show, DH is half afraid of what they might show, or what they might NOT!! I tell him, they're bound to show something up because of all he suffered years ago. He's often saying he feels as though his bones are crunching together at the lower spine, I suppose it could even be arthritis with long-term injury put together with age. I get scrunching in my right knee and that's arthritis. Still, time will tell. Thanks anyway Siju, at least you know roughly what we're going through.I'm so very chuffed you thoroughly enjoyed yourself seeing your little treasure!!!! 🤗 It's such a wonderful moment you'll be able to cherish always!!I'm not a bit surprised at how your DH felt about the difference in prams or are they push chairs??!! Very confusing after all that time in between, years do strange things to us all!!
Take care Siju.Well, another £15 transferred to the SPC accountHave a restful evening and a good Wednesday folks. 🤩Stay very safe and healthy.Sue xxNB Folks: Opening date for this year is 28th October 2021

Aw Sue sorry to read about your husband. I do hope he feels more like himself soon. Big pay on the back to Joey for helping with the dogs.
I updated my signature. Apparently the landlady says we can end our tenancy early but we weren’t told so just had a call asking for our new moving date. The place we found has just gone so may be raiding the SPC jar (or my LISA account)
all frustrating. Off to distract myself by starting another blanket or a scarf or something.

Yes some of our so called fans Sue - Absolutely appalling. Way beyond my comprehension.
oh well back to the potting, a few more travel savings added to the pot this week.
Day off tomorrow thankfully. Down to the tranquility garden in the morning for a bit of early morning peace.
Enjoy the weekend all, and the hot weather if you like it. Hi to all SPCers!! What a glorious week!
Do keep so very safe at the weekend with all the heat that's forecast!! It's going to be a stinker! 😀
To any of our dear members who are either ill or low in any way whatsoever, please do take great care, and I sincerely hope you'll soon be well and back with us. For now, take very good care of yourselvesMany thanks Hicksy, actually DH seems quite a bit better at the moment, still making very tentative moves before he tries things too much, but... fingers crossed!!So sorry to hear that the place you were hoping to get has already gone. Stay hopeful as no doubt the ideal home for you is out there somewhere, just waiting for you to hear about it. ☺️You've got the right attitude, keep active and positive! Thanks a lot for sorting out your signature! Here's hoping and praying for you all Hicksy, love to you all xxGreat minds then Ant. 🥺 Still, at least the majority know how to behave! 😀Ooh the tranquility of the garden with the cooler, fresher air is a wonderful place to be in early morning or evening, especially with the sweet scent of honeysuckle etc adding to the bliss of it all, birds singing and feeding too. ☺️I hate it when it's so hot, but oh my heart goes out to all those in Germany, Belgium and Holland, with such tragic loss of lives - and all those poor souls still missing, so terribly sad!Well done potting Ant.***********************Take great care in the heat, everyone, make sure you're fully protected from the UV rays! Furthermore, do please take from Monday onwards with the reduction in safety from Covid regulations!! Our neighbours have both got it, only in their early 50's and both double vaccinated, but both very ill!! Keep VERY safe!!***********************Have a restful evening and a WONDERFUL WEEKEND folks. 🤩Sue xxNB Folks: Opening date for this year is 28th October 2021

You’re right Sue - Even with this heat we are so lucky with our weather compared to the extremes many other countries have to contend with.
Had a small bonus to my pot of £2.30 as there was a 10per cent cash back offer on shopping at Sainsbury’s with my credit card.

Gooooooooooood Moooooooorning sealed potterssssssssssss
It's a lovely sunny day here in the east of england, doors are open, birds are chirping, what more could we ask for?
DH took himself off to the pub on the weekend, returned half cut with a hand full of coins that were thrust at me for the pot. I'll be honest, i've long since stopped counting, it just gets chucked in now! There was definitely some £1 coins and shrapnel though!
I'm being informed its cleaning day sighhhh, who wants to clean in this weather? my husband it seems! so I shall toddle myself off again to sit on the floor and look through piles of paperwork we seem to like to collect in the kitchen while he flitters around me with a hoover.

Hello Potters, it's a lovely sunny day here in West Wales too, jakes-mum. I am currently sitting under a fan in our home office, trying not to stick to my computer chair
Our garden is looking fantastic at the moment, I planted an area with wildflowers earlier in the year and it is now flowering in abundance. One night a week or so ago, we noticed a hedgehog in the garden under the bird table. Last night there were two of them.........we are now wondering whether there will be the patter of tiny hedgehog paws as well. I will keep you posted.
I am potting £10.49 today. Stay safe and well and try to keep cool everyoneSPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.832 -

Hello dear Sue and fellow potters 👋 phew I'm fed up with this hot weather now aren't you? As our garden and French doors are south facing its been unbearably hot and the garden needs rain, although not the torrential sort that some poor countries are suffering, I feel so very sad for people who have lost their homes and even their lives because of it. Its awful.
Thank you for the mention Sue, I don't have much of a progress report at the moment because all the legalities are moving at snails pace , which is so frustrating. I'm scared we might lose the bungalow if the pace doesn't pick up soon but our buyers are struggling to get a mortgage in place. With a simple sale to first time buyers and a bungalow ready to move into with no upward chain it should be easy. Not so! I daresay everything will come together at once and it will be a mad panic.
I was so sorry to hear that T has not been well. Hope you are OK Sue.
Sadly, no potting to report as we are not going out to shop and I can't get into the right frame of mind to try until we can move and relax at last.
Enjoy the sun everyone but slap on the sunscreen 😎Sealed Pot Challenge #012
