Morning everyone. Not much to report but I’ve got a couple of days extended leave. My son has smashed his tablet again so have to go to the post office today to send it back. We went to visit my support bubble yesterday for the first time since early December, it gave me a much needed lift. Otherwise very quiet and no potting ☹️ Hope everyone’s woes soon turn the corner into joys and joyful news remains so (think that makes sense).SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)2

Afternoon everyone
Hope you are doing well, hugs to anyone who needs one.
We had a lovely Easter weekend, the sun was shining and it was warm enough to sit out in the garden, but not anymore!! Snow showers on and off today and bitterly cold. DH has gone off for his 1st jab today so hoping he will be ok after it as it's our 31st wedding anniversary tomorrow and his birthday on Thursday. Fingers crossed he'll be ok.

For all those who are either ill or low in any way, please take great care and I sincerely hope you're all well and that you will soon be back with us.For now, take great care and be kind to yourselves.
Hi Hetty, I'm pleased to hear you've got a couple of days extra leave! However, I bet your joy didn't last for long with your Son having smashed his tablet, let's hope it won't be long until he gets it back; though I hope it was accidentally and not literally smashed it!!I'm glad you received some pleasure from your support bubble, you're obviously in need of it.Don't worry, your last sentence makes perfect sense to me, and I can only hope for the same.Look after yourself Hetty. 😍It's good to know your Easter was enjoyable, Siju, but by golly didn't it ever change quickly!! 🥶We've not had any snow, though I expect they did on Exmoor; and then of course there were the showers!!I sincerely hope everything is alright when your DH had his vaccination, I've no idea why, but I was thinking it was your 2nd jabs that you'd both been invited to have! Clearly I got it wrong. 🙄 Watch out for any rotten headaches, stomach aches or blurred vision, if so get in touch with your Dr or further! Though it's far more with women than men.Very many congratulations to you both on your Wedding Anniversary!!! 🥂🍾 A little belated I'm afraid, but right on time for his birthday... A very Happy Birthday to him today!! 🥰Fingers crossed that he's well after the jab, but any lengthy headaches or stomach pains - report them asap!Take great care of yourselves Siju!!Not even a hello to us jakes-mum!Puh
Excellent potting!!

Excellent potting!!
i've had tonsilitis for the last 10 days so really not been that great, still got some lovely white spots in there so I think it's time for a phone call to my doctor to be diagnosed without being seen (as has been happening for 12 months now!)
£2 coin in my purse after returning cereal to Mr T having bought my dad the wrong one.
Back off to ignore my nurse friend as she continues to tell me to gargle salt water (YUK! nope! rather suffer!)SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10003 -

Crikey Ant, I hadn't realised about the half way mark! Very close indeed.More good work done with your potting...and with the 1P!!! 😁Hellooooo there jakes-mum, so sorry to hear you've got suspected tonsillitis. We've all got to be extremely fortunate to actually physically see a Dr these days, I wonder if they'll be more likely to do so now!If the salt rinse/gargle hasn't done any good (and it won't if you haven't EVEN USED IT), are you certain it's tonsillitis? Our DD has had horrible white lumps on both her tonsils periodically, the Drs usually ignore hers saying there just due to something or other, though I can't remember what now.Nice work with the £2!! 🤩Have a truly LOVELY MONDAY, folks! Hello! I potted £4.40 and I too can’t believe we are half way there 😱 For tonsillitis I swear by gargling soluble aspirin and then you swallow it, seems to work for me but maybe not for everyone. Planted more seeds, still need to !!!!!! out but I got my third raised bed done at the weekend ready for tomatoes later in the season.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)2

Thank you for your kind wishes Sue-UU. DH was absolutely fine after his jab last week, just a sore arm. It's my turn tomorrow, so I'm hoping I'll be the same. There doesn't seem any way of predicting who suffers or not. Fingers crossed, I'll be fine.
DH has planted tomato seeds too, they are on the kitchen windowsill and every morning he takes them to the greenhouse, but it's so cold here at night at the moment, he has to bring them in every evening too. Really hoping this cold weather improves soon.
I can't believe we are half way through already, where does the time go? I'm potting £6.66 this week. Stay safe and well Potters.

Hi Potters 😊 I hope you've had a lovely Tuesday!!

Hi Hetty, and good potting! 😍A good idea for tonsillitis for those who are alright with Aspirin, though jakes-mum has a few health issues (a few others too 😂), but she'll soon tell us.Well done with planting more seeds, along with the raised beds for the 🍅 s, excellent.Hi Siju, you're most welcome.I'm so pleased your DH is fine after having had his vaccination, fingers crossed you are too! You're right in that there's absolutely no predicting who suffers and who doesn't with the vaccination; it's simply one heck of a coincidence if a person's unlucky enough to be the 1 in goodness knows how many! Now the same is happening with the Johnson & Johnson one! It makes you which one will be next, although the Pfizer one's "seem" to be ok!Moving swiftly on: It's good to hear you've got your tomato seeds on the way too. I always used to start ours off on the window sill of the downstairs spare room, it was south facing and perfect until some years later when we progressed to a greenhouse. If you've got a similar window it would save DH keep taking them in and out.Time really does fly by, I'm sure it's done so even more during the Lockdown, otherwise we're so busy in totally different ways that it's all normal so to speak.Hubby & I went for a walk just now, and when the sun came out it was really quite beautiful!Have a truly really LOVELY THURSDAY, folks!
