Hi Dragon Lily, it sounds as though you're doing exactly the same as me, with a few coins in the pot and money transferred to the bank. You could say, we're doing virtually the same thing! 😁Hubby & I cut each others hair on Wednesday, Ant, quite a relief too, though we had already done so midway through the Lockdown.Well done with your continued travel savings being potted!Have a lovely weekend all of you.Hi 32b3, lovely to see you at last, I was starting to wonder if everything was ok. Good to hear all's well and you're still saving well, great work!Really beautiful weather for the funeral of the Duke Of Edinburgh, bless him, yesterday! I really do hope the funeral was the gift needed to Princes William and Harry for them to get back to being the very close Brothers they'd always been, it would be wonderful!!Enjoy the rest of a very good week, everyone.Have a truly really LOVELY SUNDAY, folks! Today on my walk to see Mum I picked up 2p, a hundred yards or so later I picked up another penny. That money spider in my unkempt hair was clearly trying to tell me there was money out on the pavements!Now I know that you and your other half are hairdressers Sue I’ll book one of you in to cut mine if the queues down the road don’t shorten sometime soon!
Yes would be nice if Harry and William could make peace. Not much potting, just a few coppers but had a nice weekend. Did a garden visit with my niece and had lunch there on Sunday then I came home and sorted out the pond. Looking much tidier but still a little tweaking to do round the edges. It took me 2 days and 7 attempts to get through to my hairdresser and I didn’t even try to call until Wednesday. The earliest we could get for a child’s and ladies dry trim was 30th April; obviously it’s school photos on 27th. Ah well in years to come it will serve as a reminder of these crazy times we are living through. Good to see William and Harry talking. The funeral got me thinking about my Dad as Eternal Father Strong to Save was his favourite hymn and we sang it at his funeral in 1982 (from a naval family although he wasn’t in the navy himself). I often wonder what my mum and dad would make of the world today. Just waiting for a reply from my cousin whether my auntie wants us to visit after 17th May or wait until after 21st June. We haven’t seen them for 18 months; they will not believe how tall my boy has grown!SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)3

Hi everyone, hope you are all feeling safe and well. Lovely to hear everyone is finally getting their hair cut.....our DS grew his over the last year until he had a little ponytail - not my cup of tea at all but each to their own. Thankfully, he's finally had it cut and trimmed his beard and now looks like the gorgeous son I know and love (I'm not at all biased
)
I had my vaccination last Wednesday and had a bit of a hot head during the evening but the only really annoying problem I'm having is feeling like my head is underwater. It's not painful just irritating. I phoned my doctor to ask for advice and she told me if I'm not in pain, don't worry, it will clear on its own. Patience is not one of my virtues unfortunately!
I thought the funeral on Saturday was very tasteful and understated. I felt very sorry for The Queen though, having to sit on her own. I know there's protocol to follow, but there is no way on earth I would have left my mother on her own at my Dad's funeralIt was good to see Prince William and Harry talking, fingers crossed this has helped them on the road to recovery.
Another £8.91 to pot this week. Enjoy this lovely sunny day, folks

Hi everyone, apologies for being quiet/ AWOL for a while. I wish I could say I've been up to something interesting but I really haven't
I've been potting my virtual change using Pingit jars because I can keep the pots separate to my other banking apps (no temptation to raid them). Well last week a little notification popped up to say that Pingit is closing at the end of June! So I'll need to find myself an alternative before I subconsciously stop potting my change - I've noticed a drop in action in the last 7 days already.Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)

Hi Potters 😊 I hope you've enjoyed the couple of beautiful days we've been blessed with!
Enjoy today and the week ahead. Stay safe and healthy folks, that pesky virus is still about!!

😳 You jammy thing, Ant!! 😁 I reckon you must have a permanent money spider in your hair, or should that be thatch! You've found quite a bit during this last year, still keep closely watching out for more! 🧐 I hope your Mum is doing well.No Ant, T & I aren't hairdressers, we've just learned to cut each others hair since this ruddy Covid. Aside from that I absolutely hate going to the hairdressers so, trimming each others is truly fantastic!I quite agree about life being too short to be worrying about petit disputes, far best to move on and make the best of things.It sounds as though you had a really lovely weekend, Hetty, even the pond only needs tweaking now!Such a shame you're unable to get haircuts until AFTER the photos have been taken!! 😳I really used to love 'Eternal Father Strong To Save' at our school.It's quite amazing to think how things have changed since the 80's, I'm sure all the dear souls from those times would be horrified if they realise just how much the world has changed since then!! 😲Well your Aunt is obviously in for bit of a shock whenever she visits, amazing how kiddies grow so quickly! Enjoy her company ☺️Hi Siju, reading about your DS's hair change, perhaps with being an expectant father has come an air of responsibility and wanting to look his very best. ☺️How very odd to have such a weird feeling since your vaccination, though a very good job your Dr isn't a Lifeguard...is she!! 😰 Seriously though, if it continues or you get any other symptoms, seek attention from 111 or another Dr, but I really do hope you're very soon feeling very much better!Whoever would have thought a royal spouse should be expected to sit alone throughout the service of his or her loved one! Protocol taken a step too far obviously.I most certainly hope William & Harry have been able to put their differences aside, though reading yesterday's news, it seems that others won't!!Fantastic potting! 😁
Hi delta13, so sorry to hear about your Pingit jars, though I don't really understand it, but I really hope you find a good alternative! Whatever, do try hard to keep up your saving, virtual or otherwise!Enjoy the rest of an excellent week, everyone.Have a truly really LOVELY SUNDAY, folks! Just a note to say aside from potting a couple of quid, I obviously made my pond too inviting. Nipped out to the bin on Tuesday lunchtime and there were two ducks in the pond!🦆As you can see there’s still work to do round the edges with stones and plants but they had knocked all my pond plants and churned up the water so it was all muddy. Neither myself or Hetty were impressed 😧SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5
