    Hello potters,
More travel savings potted this week. I’m a bit of a broken record with travel savings as a means of potting but it works. Not expecting to go back to the office until at least the summer.
Been blowing a gale here. Probably the same for lots of you. Good signs for our potters over the bridge in Wales. Some restrictions being lifted there at last.
    Have a good weekend everyone.

  • Morning everyone.
£10 potted yesterday. I’ve bought a couple of coffees recently and was paid back so straight in the pot. Probably nothing again for a while as not using cash at the moment.
    Have a good weekend.

A very good Saturday Potters! 😊 Not such a bad day!! I really hope everyone's taking great care. Stay safe and healthy folks, the virus is still about!!

For all those who are either ill or low in any way, take great care and I sincerely hope you're all very well and that you will soon be back with us.  For now, take care. 3

Hi Hicksy, apologies as I must have missed you out or  forgotten you the time before last!!
Excellent findings in your car, with half having been potted in yours and the rest going into the boys' pots. They've done really well already!! 🤗😍 However could you call them Ratbags?!! Although I must admit to having used the very same phrase once or twice about my 2! 😘 I was shocked to see the age of your eldest one!! 😳

Very well done, Ant, broken record - you?! Never! At least you've got it in your pot for as and when it's time for a break for you all! It's not quite blowing so much today, thank goodness, as you say though no doubt it has been elsewhere. The last 3 days it's been extremely rough!
Good for Wales with their upcoming freedom, though I can't help wishing it was ours, still it won't be long.
    Have a super weekend!

Hi ETO, and excellent work with the £10er!! 🤗
Let's hope you do soon have more to pot. 😁

Another £20 transferred in the SPC account!! 🤩

Have a wonderful WEEKEND, folks!  Stay safe and healthy!

    Sue xx

NB folks: Opening date for SPC 14 is 28th October 2021.

Morning Potters 😁. Birthday tea was a success, we couldn’t move for days! 🤣. I cleaned his room for him on his birthday while he was at school (extra birthday gift!); potted the £1 I found under his bed, he knows the potting rules.  I also found another 5p roadkill, you can tell the schools are back. Just requested £38 from my TCB account so that will go into the pot once I receive it.  Had my first vaccine yesterday.  Bit achey this morning so had some ibuprofen to sort that out.  It means I should have had my second dose by the time (🤞) lockdown is fully lifted on 21st June.  Obviously the only thing we had booked for this year is booked for 19th June so we are waiting to see if they are able to move the dates.  It’s Gardeners World Live at the NEC which was cancelled last year too.  On a positive note though Monty is back on our screens on Friday with the start of GW 2021, therefore it is officially spring in my world already 🌷🌻🌶🍅

  • No potting at all again, I'm afraid.  I broke a tooth in half 2 weeks ago and had to wait over a week for an 'emergency appointment' !!!  I could hardly eat for all that time :|  The dentist managed to repair it last week but it still cost me £65.20 so I've no spare money to pot.  I'm frantically completing surveys to reach a point where I can get paid though.
Hetty, I can't wait for Monty's prog to begin this Friday either.  We both LOVE it as it makes us feel so happy and positive about the future. Enjoy!

Ooh poor you, little_sweetie, not being able to eat much must have been awful - it's seems to be the only thing we do these days!
Feeling great today as I was able to get an appointment with my hairdresser yesterday morning :) It's surprising what a lift it gives you.  Sorry to all who aren't able to go yet, but I'm sure it won't be much longer.  DH has hardly been able to move since Saturday as he was tidying up an area of the garden and his back went into a spasm.  He's walking a bit like an orangutan at the moment  In normal times, he would go for a sports massage but obviously they are all shut, so it's painkillers and taking it easy for him!  He's banished himself to the spare bedroom because the mattress is much firmer in there.  Happy days for me
On to my pot this week and I have £7.11 to add.  Take care folks, better days are coming xx

Hi Potters! 😊 It looks set to be a beautiful day!! :) Stay safe and healthy folks, the virus is still about!!

Wow MrsShazbat, you're doing well with your money, good for you! Re Plum, I've never used it before but I think I'll give it a go given how you and "LivingInTheBlack" both get along with it. Thanks a lot and take care.

I'm so chuffed that your Son's birthday tea went so well, Hetty
Wow what an amount you scooped from under his bed!!!! 😳
It feels as though Lockdown is never ending this time around! I hope they're able to bring it forward, but understand if they're unable. We went out for a walk earlier, and the people, singles and couples, who were out simply for a natter was amazing, and we're only in a country village! It was lovely to have a good old chat; we've even sold our car to a former garage owner at the top of the village when we're ready to buy another for ourselves!  We'll be so sad to see it go, but so pleased Nick's buying it as he & his Wife are soon moving out of the village! He's already got 3 cars, but badly wanted our Honda CRV, it'll be good for us not to have to see it, other than when we go to see them.
I'm glad you've had your vaccination, at least that's the first out of the way.
I'm so pleased Monty will be back on Friday!! Only 1 day after spring, 21st. 🍄🍅🍠

Ooh dear little_sweetie, that was quite an expensive tooth!!! 🛠️⛏️
When I had my 2 extracted in the earlier Lockdown it cost just over  £500!!!!!😳 We normally have it under the NHS, but no chance for any appointmentsdue to Covid, so had to go private! 😳 We had to go again last week, my fault again, by golly they're costly!! 😳😳 Difficult though as our Dentist has no idea when we'll get an appointment!! 😥
That's 3 of us not being able to wait for Gardeners World!!!! 😁😁😁 Look after yourselves A & G xx

Ooh lucky you getting a trim, Siju!  Still Hubby & I are still doing each others, we're not doing a bad job either.
Oh your poor Hubby with his back, the times that's happened to mine as well as and my Hubby. In the days when it happened to Hubby our Dr & I used to carry a mattress down from our spare room, that too was much harder than ours. Still, it serves the purpose well. Fancy you referring your DH to an Orangutan!! 😂😂 I would never have dreamed of doing that. 🤣😂
    Excellent potting!!
I do hope we're not so long in breaking free from Lockdown as is said, I'll be driving myself silly!
    Take care of yourselves

Have a wonderful LOVELY WEDNESDAY, folks!  Stay safe and healthy!

    Sue xx

  • Thank you for the sympathy siju I did feel very sorry for myself for a while. Your poor hubby with a bad back deserves my sympathy now!  Like many people, I have a dodgy back too and all the sitting whilst under lockdown doesn't help does it.  Hope he feels much better soon.  I do envy your hairdo!  My hair is so out of shape now but my appointment isn't until 15th April.  I'll be able to put it in a ponytail soon which is not a good look for an over 70!!
Sue, sorry you are still having dental problems too.  At least I managed to get mine done on the NHS.  £500?? wow!
Love to you and T x
