A few more pounds potted fro. Shopping savings and travel savings. Little and often with the potting should need to a nice break at some point, possibly in that other kind of world we used to know.

No potting, just saying hello.  I finished work for a whole week today.  Is it wrong of me that my son doesn’t know I’m on holiday from work next week?  Nah, he’d only come up with excuses to spoil it 🤣. I am very obviously over ambitious as to how much I will get done in one week but never mind 🥳

Ooh Hetty, I had a week off work recently and it did me the world of gods. I hope it does similar for you. I was able to do a bit of horse poo picking to help my sister out and do a tiny bit of garden tidying - Not much else, but it was nice to break the cycle of working from home for a week. I hope you have a great week off and all I would say is maybe don’t set your ambitions too high for what you want to get done! 

I was very excited to pick up a very rare roadkill penny yesterday and add it to my pot.

Well done with spotting the penny, and yes they're so very rare these days. I've upped you by a penny though as Hubby & I found 2p in the mud when we were out for a walk on Thursday!!

I can't blame you for wanting to have the majority of the week to yourself, Hetty. It's not easy with a youngster home for so long. Enjoy your week doing all you need to do and don't feel guilty, so long as you're there when he comes home is all that matters.

I enjoyed a really lovely Birthday yesterday with treats to the hilt, Facetime videos from all the family and a good, though darned cold walk with Hubby. Later he cooked us a delicious roast Chicken with all the trimmings followed by a Raspberry Roulade!! 😍 My Hubby is a wonderful cook due to me having epilepsy and the terrible accidents sustained from it in our early days.  

2p found by Hubby & I on Thursday, it was in the mud but was very welcome in the pot after a good wash!

Evening all, I haven't been on in a while as I havent really been potting, but have emptied my purse tonight and added £1.60.
Great to hear people are having thier vaccines. I am having my second in a couple of weeks (I work in social care so had mine quite quickly).
Hope everyone is enjoying thier saturday. I have studying to do which I am putting off starting by surfing the internet

Haven’t been on for a while as life just seems to be getting in the way at the moment and dont have a minute to
myself. 

However I have potted about £20 since my last post so still plodding on. 

Every time I pop on here I have a moment of ‘I need to get on top of my spending and debts’ but I seem to have lost all ability in this area since having kids. 

We don’t want for anything but I still can’t stop spending. I need to take an evening and have a complete overhaul.

Belated birthday wishes Sue.  
As others have said, not really any potting going on at the moment other than what Plum is saving for me.  Had to have car repaired last week so that was £220 that I wasn't expecting.  And now I've discovered that M&S will be closing my bank account later this year, so I need to work on paying off my overdraft so I can switch accounts.  It's not too bad, and I usually catch up in March but the car put paid to that!  Needs must though.
