Hi everyone , will be checking my purse today see if any potting available. Had a busy weekend as daughter went into labour late Friday night so not a lot of sleep waiting for the call to head there to look after DGD 1 which happened 7 am sat then a very long wait Sat for me and DGD 1 ( age 3) . DGD 2 born at 2am Sunday morning . ( not much sleep again) DGD 1 awake at 2.30am not wanting to go back to bed! It was a long difficult labour and scary at end as she had to be pulled out quickly🥲 but all fine and they came home at 5 pm yesterday. Tired but happy. Cooked them a meal and went home to get a good nights sleep 😀 I’m am in their childcare bubble and am dropping off some things they need today so hopefully will get a quick cuddle 😀 Happy Monday everyone 😀

A very good afternoon SPCers!
😊 I hope you all enjoyed the really lovely weekend! I really hope everyone's taking great care. Stay safe and healthy folks, the grinch is still about!!
For all those who are either ill or low in any way, take great care and I
sincerely hope you're all very well and that you will soon be back with us. For now, take care.
Thank you so very much for the birthday wishes, Ant, very kind of you. I'm pleased you forgave me for going one up on your 1p, either way I was delighted on doing so!! 😂
Hello again Doily94! I agree, there's been little chance to do any potting lately. Let's hope things look up in the near future.
I'm
pleased folk like yourself are getting vaccinated, you certainly
deserve to be. A few members, me included, have already had ours.
So,
it sounds as if you just might be procrastinating somewhat, though I'm
sure any surfing you might be doing is to do with your studies! 😁
Thanks very much indeed ETO,
though I didn't go out other than to get some exercise, not in any
other way, little chance to these days! 🙄 Why not go out for a walk
with the kiddies, it'll do you all a power of good?
Excellent potting ETO!!
Do your best to budget, keeping spending will only get you further in debt, and far longer to get out.
When
thinking of spending on something, no matter what it is, ask yourself
"do I really need it or want it"? If it's the latter then leave it!!!
You'll be pleased you did!!
Take care ETO.
Many thanks little_sweetie.
It's an absolute Godsend that T not only needs to do the cooking, but
really does love it!! I think being the second younger of 9 might have helped, also
his Dad used to help his Mum a great deal.
That said, I used to love cooking, but there you go, life has it's twists and turns.
Take care A, G too. x
Thanks so very much, Frogletina. It was lovely.
We're all in the same boat re potting, but all being well things will return to a little more normal like in a few weeks! 😁
Many thanks MrsShazbat. Not much for you money wise, but at least Plum is doing you some good!
Bad luck with the car repair coming as it did, M&S too - it never rains, but....! 😰 All the best to you. x
Many congratulations to you and all the family on the arrival of DGD 2 , welshspendthrift!!!! 🤗🥰❤️ A really wonderful time for you all!
I
sincerely hope you got a good night's sleep after the mammoth event,
maybe not that mammoth though I always think it feels like it for we
Grandparents, nothing you can done but wait...and wait..and..! I'm so
pleased you're in their bubble, lots of cuddles for you, enjoy every one
of them.
Have a lovely Monday, folks, and enjoy the next couple of days before the rain comes in - again.
Sue xx
A very happy Monday all! Stay safe and healthy!

Congratulations welshspendthrift, such wonderful news and a belated Happy Birthday Sue-UU It's lovely to hear potters are receiving their vaccines. Our health board has issued a time line and it seems that DH will be called after 22 March and as I am soooo much younger mine will be after 5 April; so still got a bit of time to wait, but it will be here before we know it. Let's hope we can see some return to normality. DS and his fiancé have put in an offer on their first house and it's been accepted, so I'm really hoping that we will be able to see them and their new house soon. It's only a 20 minute walk from DD's house, so when we finally get unlocked from our home and allowed to travel, we can hopefully see them all. Potted £13.29 this week. Stay safe and well Potters
Found 5p roadkill! Enjoying the peace and quiet of being off work but collecting my boy in 30 mins so that will be the end of that. It’s his birthday tomorrow so he is very giddy, just finished his cake and hidden it away. We will be stuffed tomorrow tea time; fish and chips with mushy peas (and a bag of scraps for Hetty) followed by chocolate cake. Looking forward to it already 🥳🎂
Happy birthday to Hetty's boy! No cash being handled again this week but I won the grand sum of 20p on topcashback's hummingbird game so feeling quite giddy myself! 😜 Have a great day everyone x
A total of 50p into my sealed pot, just excess money in my purse when I totalled my spending up.
I've spent more money than usual this week, thanks to granddaughters, one with a debt and one with a poorly tortoise, which was bitten by a rat. I've just written about it all on the decluttering thread, as all I've done this week is declutter money!

Emptying out my car and found £4.20 in change. Half in my pot and the rest on the side for the boys pop into theirs. They have accrued £70 and refuse to pop into their bank accounts ha ha. Toe rags.
A very good afternoon Potters!
😊 What a filthy day!! I really hope everyone's taking great care. Stay safe and healthy folks, the virus is still about!!
For all those who are either ill or low in any way, take great care and I
sincerely hope you're all very well and that you will soon be back with us. For now, take care.
Many thanks to you Siju.
It's a good feeling to have at least the first vaccination done, at least
after a couple of weeks or so we're about 60% immune, quite amazing really! It
won't be too long until yours are both finished with for 12 weeks.
Oooh wouldn't it be lovely to get back to a near normal, though it's not
going to be easy with so many against it!! 🤨😥 I sincerely hope they change
their minds.
Hubby and I are in the same situation as you soon hope to be with both our
offspring within a mile of us! Congratulations to your Son & DIL on having
bought their first home!!! 🤗💗🥂🍾🎂 I hope they'll both be extremely
happy.
Excellent potting Siju!! Look after yourselves.
Oooh I'm glad it's not time for tea, Hetty, I'm sure I'd be starving
otherwise with you and your fish & chips and Birthday cake!! 😋
A very Happy Birthday to your dear Son!! 🥰 🎂 I hope he had a really
lovely day!
Excellent spotting with the 5p!!
Enjoy the rest of your week and take care!
Hi little-sweetie! Brilliant work with the 20p!!! 🥰
You also have a great day xx
Well done with the 50p, Frogletina!! Nice work in decluttering the
money, I've never heard of it put like that before 😉, though I bet it was
greatly appreciated.
The poor tortoise!! 😥 What a rotten rat!!! 😡 I've never heard of that
happening before, let's hope it won't do it again!
Keep healthy!
I'd like to have said have a good Wednesday, but with the weather as it is?!! Stay safe and healthy!
Sue xx
