I don't trust my family. Am I being paranoid?

Over-emotional language such as 'on the prowl' will only feed OP's already overstretched emotions. They are the siblings of the lady who has died and may well be trying to support a niece who is rather less in control than she would wish. Making snap judgements based on a post from someone who has just been bereaved isn't the greatest of ideas and is only going to fuel what does, quite frankly, look close to what OP herself admits might be a reaction which amounts to paranoia.MalMonroe said:I'm really sorry to hear about your Mum, it must have been a terrible shock - especially as you found her. And it was only three days ago, not long at all.
I can't believe that her siblings are on the prowl so soon. They may feel that they are being very helpful but is there any way you could tell them that you have everything under control?Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!4 -
Families can get funny, and say nasty things to each other in this situations.
Sometimes they can be meaningful words that have pent up for years, and sometimes not - be the pain talking.
It is a crying shame that only three days after death, money is at the forefront of everyone's mind.
I don't think you are being paranoid OP, & the relatives may feel same of you - for some reason we do not know.

We don't know that, only that it was at the forefront of the OP's mind at the time she posted.pickledonionspaceraider said:
