Must be a first for the President of the USA to be cut off in mid stream. The US is truly becoming the laughing stock of the world.

We really need the OP to come back to give us the truth about this crash as the democrat biased media are covering it up and we all know the market reporting of recent share prices is fake news. People keep finding boxes of share certificates that haven't been recorded legitimately and getting dividends for purchases after the ex-dividend dates. I say stop the payments it's all corrupt. We will only find out the truth when my lawyers get involved. There will be so much beautiful litigation because it's a stain on the proud history of our stock markets and we all need to take action to protect decency and the rule of law.

I enjoyed this, but it was missing the usual drizzling  showering of CAPS.

FTSE100 (just as an example) now quickly falling, following a period of slowly falling.
Why didn't I follow my gut feeling a week ago and put my pension funds back into cash?  Probably too late now to miss all of the fall?
I bet you are counting your blessings that you didn't follow your gut feelings.

FTSE100 up 4.5% this week, excellent
    Nasdaq up from 11021 to 11912 = 8% !
    Glad I chose Nasdaq !
Of course it may all balance out in the end  :)
“Like a bunch of cod fishermen after all the cod’s been overfished, they don’t catch a lot of cod, but they keep on fishing in the same waters. That’s what’s happened to all these value investors. Maybe they should move to where the fish are.”   Charlie Munger, vice chairman, Berkshire Hathaway

£ has moved over 2% against the $ in the past week.  Swings and roundabouts. As they say.  Also there's dividends to be considered as stocks go ex-div.

Another total bloodbath in the markets today. It's relentless. Am starting to wonder if we invested above our volatility tolerance as I haven't a clue how we are going to spend all this money. We will be hiding behind the sofa pretending to be out when the wealth managers come knocking on the door. Some days it would have been better to just stay in bed. The warning signs were flashing and we just kept regularly contributing through the dips like idiots. Should have taken action earlier to cut our gains. So many regrets...
Will this ever end? I can't believe I checked the markets this evening, ruined my day. I won't sleep a wink tonight :(
