Private Parking Ticket. Ardpark.

Hello all.
A brief summary. I received private parking ticket via Ardpark. £100. Appealed to IAS. Lost. Paid £100 within 14 days via cheque.
Not received apparently, now demanding £160 as unpaid in their eyes.
Threatened with further action, court etc
Any advice gratefully received.

Was it taken out of your account?  If not do not pay unless a judge tells you to, it is a scam.

Why on earth did you pay?
Do you have proof of paying? Anything?

I paid as I had lost the appeal.
Not taken out of account. I presume lost in post or at PPC he. However as I am a bit of a nerd in these matters, I have a copy of the cheque, covering letter and payment slip I sent. They say only proof of postage will count. It's in the hands of Ridings Recoveries who appear to be at the same address as Ardpark the PPC!
Any further advice would be great

Does it matte,?   OP paid the scammer £100.  Any undertaking they gave to accept the result is likely to be an unfair term in a consumer contract.

Doesnt matter what they say, state you can prove you sent them the money in time, and you are happy to send another cheque (or do a bank transfer) but you will not add to it
Dont speak to debt recovery. Theyre useless. Speak to the organ grinder.

Thank goodness the cheque was lost in the post.  Tell your Bank this and they will probably put a stop on it for free.

Then you can get back in the real world and learn how to beat this rubbish and stop thinking you were meant to pay, LOL.  Did you not realise only 5% of IAS appeals are upheld - FIVE PER CENT.

    No-one PAYS.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
