Morning all
Dragged myself out of bed when I heard DS go to work, going to do my exercise class next (gentle stretchy stuff today). Dog beds in WM, DW to empty before paid stuff.
My big brother is visiting tomorrow which is great, but he wants to bring his bike so we can cycle together in the morning. I am kinda praying for rubbish weather because my brother is a lot fitter than me and I am not too enthusiastic.
Pigpen sounds like you are making great progress with Dot, glad the referral has come through earlier than you thought.
Right, I need to do this exercise before I completely lose my motivation!9 -
Morning all,
Its half term, woop woop! I am up silly early for a day off because I am so excited about being off if that makes sense 😂😂. We do have a lot to do today, to get ahead on the weekend. So we will be big dog walking, flying, DD has swimming later and DS has football. I need to nip to the shops for some easy filled pasta for tea. I have loads of niggly bits to sort that I simply haven't had the head space etc to do whilst at work.I really wish I could spend a whole day in bed with a servant bringing me cuppas and wine but alas I am a grown up and must parent these small beings and take some responsibility. No fair *stamps foot* 😂😂
Have fab days all xx9 -
Morning all,
Dragging myself up and off to work. Going to be stupid busy getting ahead, as I have booked 2 days off next week -first holidays from work of the year! Wm on, pack up made.
DH wfh as ever, but at least it means that he is in for a parcel delivery and also when the gas man comes to service the boiler this pm.
YL - hugely impressed that you can get up early to exercise.
ASB - enjoy your day, and hopefully you get some you-time later.
Have a lovely day all x9 -
Morning xx
I felt much better yesterday - and got 2 loads of washing dried outside, and 2 loads laundry shuffled indoors, plus WUDUPA a bowl of pots whilst tea was cooking. And I finished reading my book.
Didn't sleep very well last night - just wasn't tired. That was wonderfully welcome yesterday (I feel like I've been tired forever) but a ballache challenge through the night.....and now I'm tired. (Delete expletive)
Got up at 8.30, made my bed, set WM swishing and I've had a brew. Oh, and I've filled Sweetie's seed and water.
Have a good day

half term started early here too...if I recall they pulled us in a day early in Sep to prep for opening so this is a day off in lieu.

Ironing is done and awayOven cleaning is about to start.Piggers, my recent hearing aids were via a doctors referral to specsavers, referred on the Monday, seen and dealt with on Friday, new hearing aid with dome molds, I did have to go back as the molds were once size too big and made my ears itch, all very efficient and covid secure.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning my lovelies, just raising a cup of coffee to ASB, Round, Valli and anyone else who is enjoying a Friday off.
Yesterday didn't quite go to plan, hair cut and colour in the morning and she did me a pedicure whilst I was waiting for the colour to take, so feet feel fantastic. Went into work and picked up a cup of soup for lunch, but some how the cup managed to jump out of my hand and cover me, the table and the floor, yes you guessed it was carrot soup. So cleaned myself up as best I could (but orange soup and a blue and white top don't mix) and got on with teching my teen group, fortunately boys that age don't care how dirty your clothes are. Went home and enjoyed wine and leftovers, wasn't risking anything else.
This morning has been taken up with a long video chat with a few friends.
But
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on (to deal with soup incident)
HHI done
Lunch made for OH
An extra bag of stuff thrown out in the general bin today
Off to the other house to meet DD2 and then she's coming back with us for half term. Better throw a few things in a bag.
Curfew starts here on Saturday night but not really going to bother us as can't remember when I was last out after 9pm and if I go out before 6am there has to be a very good reason.
Look after yourselves and get off those hamster wheels.
Time for another coffee

Good morning
I had a rubbish night's sleep - nothing terrible, just brain wouldn't turn off!
I am up, dressed & breakfasted (well, it is nearly midday!!), checked bank accounts (done the Friday money juggle), checked emails and not much else (except stare at the ridiculously difficult jigsaw for 20 minutes!!)
I think I am going to have a lazy day and try and ignore my f!tb!t telling me to move every hour!! It is a bit of an obsession. And 8K steps is not easy when you don't leave the house!!
I think I will do some admin, catch up on some TV and maybe do something creative. I may also clean the DR floor, as I still have the steam mop out.....
Mademoiselle is it a proper curfew, where everyone needs to go home? Or some half-bottomed attempt at one where they just close the pubs and everyone parties on the street like we have here??!!! I think we need an actual curfew, or nothing at all.
Have a good day everyone!8 -
television holder removed from wall and all associated, and previous, rawlplugs pulled out. (there had been a different one there previously. Now I need to go to Wickes and buy filler.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Narco.. It is on my list of possibilities.. Specsavers one too but they don't do NHS appointments here with them so I would have to pay for it which I can not afford to do with Christmas (need another £630 to finish off shopping) and Dots much sooner assessment! I have requested an ASD assessment for myself too.. the wait list is 2 years but I think if I understand my own eccentricities it will help me understand the childrens better.. in theory.. plus I have a curiosity eating at me!
Iona.. I am BLOOMING freezing.. I think god is energy saving and turning the heating off.. I want some global warming in my neck of the woods! *shiver*
Kaz.. that would be wonderful but SS don't do NHS appointments here it all goes through ENT which has a 2 year waiting list. Boots and SS do private ones but I have a lot of outlay right now so need to get that under control as a priority.. but I am managing at the moment it isn't that bad.. tv might be a bit louder than anyone else likes and I have always had the music on too loud.. OH said my music ears think I am 15.. no one else in the house plays it anything like as loud.. I sing too, loudly, to add to the noise.
YL.. How is DS with his pain/bloods? Did they come back ok and did he gets any answers? Has he had bone density checked? Chemo and the myriad of drugs they have to take can lower bone density and that can cause all sorts of pain. I have been thinking of you all
I have spent the morning shuffling through paperwork trying to organise the numerous appointments we have going on and trying to find a way to organise them logically in an accessible place, in date order.. I am failing.. many appointments are organised online to no letter and I am just frazzled with the amount suddenly going on.. I know once most are done they are over with.. it is just this overwhelming bit I struggle with.
Today is ebeasting day..
DW been on, TD on, WM's full of stuff to hang on airers.
shopping lists sorted for the various christmas shopping I need to get done once the ebeasting is done
I need to relocate Twinkles new shoes for school when they go back.. hers are outgrown and a bit trashed but we have had our £11 worth out of them
I am sorting through the girls wardrobes this weekend and next week we are flinging toys in a very ruthless manner.. when the 7 year old says they have too much and they don't play with it then it is time to get rid. Some can be scrubbed (by children) and go to school for the younger classes to enjoy.. I took some brand new educational games in a few weeks ago.
Half term plans.. not going to the outlaws! ...Sort wardrobessort toysSort christmas presents.. I may even start wrapping.
Buy christmas cards... are we doing fly-cards this year?
and our next sleep experiment with Dot.. I am clearing her bed of fluffy things.. I NEED her to sleep a bit longer.. 3 hours a night is killing everyone!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7
