I too have taken a gamble..if not then it will be a claim from the card company as it is also their responsibility to ensure that they don't approve and signup rogue merchants.
Cloudbowski if you get your order, please do update. Good luck!1wingedangel said:Sorry guys, this is my first post as I have been searching up about this company. I can tell you that I am very nervous about everything.
I have paid them for a Note 20 Ultra. After I paid using my Credit Card, I was told it was coming from Australia and delivery is going to be around 9th December. They told me I couldn't cancel the order as it had been dispatched! It had only been 12 hours since I place the order. But apparently they are very fast at dispatching. So, I guess, I am stuck until the 9th of December.
I sent them further emails regarding my concerns, but I was told it was worth the wait. Their replies to my emails were prompt and they said they would give me a full no quibble refund if I was not happy with the Phone. When I questioned the slow pace delivery, they said to me that was the trade off for getting the phone for a discount price.
I'm very anxious now and don't know what to do. I feel like I have been scammed, but they are telling me to wait for the phone.
Would the credit card company accept a chargeback if I made it after the 9th of December?I am anxious about this, but will hope and prey they deliver by the 9th of December. If they don’t, then I guess I will contact my Card company and ask for their help. Thanks for your Peanuts and Monkeys analogy.
I will keep you guys updated.
I'd also check the exact terms of that warranty. Would you be liable for shipping costs if it needs to go to the Far East for inspection/repair? How long would it take?
How much did you "save" buying it this way? Presumably a decent amount - that's the only way this gamble makes any sense.2 -
AD. At Argos, they are from £849 to £899! Hardly a saving at £700? And with 20% VAT, charges and import duty to top that as well.2

How much did you "save" buying it this way? Presumably a decent amount - that's the only way this gamble makes any sense. This is what I’ve been told; Goods shipped from Australia are sent in small bulk loads via sea freight. This method is slower than air, but the trade off is the saving which helps keep the prices low. They handle the import fees and have never had a customer get charged as they prepay prior to Royal Mail handover.I’m going to receive a U.K. specification model so the warranty is valid. I have been told it doesn’t matter which country the item was sent from if the stock is originally are of U.K. specification.I have been told I can register the warranty with Samsung on the day I receive the phone.
They have assured I have nothing to worry about and If the order doesn’t arrive on the time stated, or isn’t as described, then they will give me a no quibble full refund.
I have sent them many emails to which they responded quickly with these explanations. So, I will wait and see.0 -

They buy the phones in bulk in the UK, getting a very good price then export them which allows the VAT to be reclaimed.
They then resell them to UK customers at the VAT free price (and not advising potential customers of the possibility of them having to pay import duties) which gives the seller a good profit and the customer gets a bargain up until the point they receive a VAT & import duty bill.
If the phones are now in the UK, they could have been brought in illegally without being declared.0 -

They have nothing to do with retailers. Plus remember these are not UK based co's. So how would any UK bank be able to stop a foreign co from trading?
Be aware that retailer can contest any chargeback, so you could still lose. Card regulations are not a 100% right to your money back.
Even a S75 could fail.
Everything can be contested and I am not denying it - lets wait and see and I will for sure update what happens to mine.
That is down to the retailers merchant bank to vet and approve the company (might not even be a UK bank, they hold a account with). Two totally different beasts. One is Consumer based the other is Business.
You say they are a UK company. Are they registered at companies house, or are you just taking it as they are showing a .co.uk website and put a UK address on their site?Life in the slow lane1 -
Their trust pilot reviews are fake. I have never heard from any genuine person that they have received phone. Their ssl certificate for the website expires in nov 2020 and date given to all customer is in December. I have a feeling that company/website will shut down in December.
I think if anyone can make money like this and banks can't even revert electronic money then there is something seriously wrong here. Its just so easy to do things like that...
