Would anyone be able to give an opinion or info on this type of site, please - iPhone 11 for £430, the catch is, it takes weeks to arrive, good reviews on Trust Pilot though and customer service are prompt in replying? - here's the website:  3pinproducts.com
I received the below when querying the long delivery times:
"Hello,

When it’s dispatched later, our supplier will tell us where it’s coming from. Stock constantly fluctuates from in stock to sold our between warehouses from now until shipping.

If your item is sent from the Oceania warehouse, it comes via government sea freight container loads, hence the potential ETA, so to reflect this, we have taken £400 off the UK RRP.

With Regards,

Online Assistance"

Too good to be true?
Thanks,

  • Definitely. You just need to read the reviews, they all say the same thing. And if you look into the addresses there are other new companies registered. Huge scam. How did you pay?

Used my debit debit card, the company has reviews spanning back a good few months, if it's so obviously a scam, I wouldn't expect it to come up on a google shopping search, top of the results? Also, nothing negative online with a search

    Are they though?

Payment processed by Tech Elite LTD, 20b High St, Kington HR5 3AX

"Payment processed" being the interesting bit.  That's not necessarily the same as the company itself being registered in the UK.  Take a look at streetview for that address... :D

Again, ask yourself how a company is able to supply genuine iPhones with all the warranty, support and service you would get from a proper UK retailer, for half the normal price.  Why doesn't everyone buy phones from them?
  • Is the company registered in the UK though?
3pinsproducts isn't. What is registered is Tech Elite Ltd and the website says "payment processed by Tech Elite Ltd" so I would query what the relationship is as you may find that Tech Elite deny responsibility for the products themselves.
There is no UK address or phone number on the website that I can see which is a big red flag, and they have a fair few reviews that have been removed recently which I would also be concerned about.

Looks to be a Building Society, every company address I've checked via companies house has been similar, in the past

I've seen 100% legitimate, new iphone 11s for £600 recently, so alarm bells didn't immediately ring regarding price

But its not going by the web site and that would be enough to stop me .
But its at purchasers risk really .
Web site is confusing regarding a UK business .
