OH does one and dd does the other, ds always replaces the toilet seat and lid and flushes the toilet. It appears lightswitches are his only blind spot.1LuckyLady said:@Baileys_Babe its the "light fairies" in our house
(who by the way also leave the loo seat up and toilet unflushed
)
Another thing OH is fond of doing is leaving the lid to a jar on top as if it is closed but without tightening the lid 😠 as a result I nearly ended up wearing chutney today.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

This reminded me of two stories. In my old work, we had those big counter-top Ikea coffee jars. People never put the lids on and my colleague picked it up by the lid and it went everywhere. Then he put in a safety obs about it like a right plum duffBaileys_Babe said:

My darling OH's trick is to open the bottom of bags of flour, frozen veg etc. You can see where that story goes!
Having said that, I would like to say that he is a clean and tidy person when it comes to the loo and loo seat so I can't complain.LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.315 -
In addition to my list today:Baileys_Babe said:

Did you use the classic "It's like Blackpool in here!"?Baileys_Babe said:Today I have had to remind my family repeatedly that light switches turn light off as well as on, all 3 of them were to blame.
Plans for today:
⭐ Record money spent ✔️
⭐ Stick to the list whilst shopping ✔️
⭐ Update freezer inventory ✔️
⭐ Put all the shopping away ✔️
⭐ Wear appropriate clothes instead of putting the central heating on ✔️
⭐ Take packed lunch and water to training with us ✔️
⭐ Make a batch of porridge ✔️
⭐ Dry the washing inside on the airer ✔️
⭐ Put the dehumidifier on to help the washing to dry and to stop the house getting damp, it will also have the added bonus of drying out the shower room fully as the airer is close by ✔️ It was raining heavily when we arrived home from training, glad I had made the decision to use the airer
Daily:
🍄B/L/D from stores 👍👍👍
🍄Home educate the children 👍👍👍
🍄Pmp etc 👍👍👍
🍄Continue my email project 👍👍👍
🍄 Close the curtains before it gets to keep the heat in 👍👍👍
🍄 Open the curtains fully to make the most of the natural light 👍👍👍
🍄 Ongoing survey 👍👍👍
It is currently sunny here but the flags are still damp. The living room is still lovely and toastie from when we had the stove lit yesterday. As the stove is cast iron it acts as a heat sink and gradually releases the residual heat over time. The water in the kettles is still very hot, I have decanted some (the kettles on the stove have generous capacity, way more than the amount I need for 1 person) into the electric kettle to bring to the boil for my pot of tea, plenty more hot water for later 😃
❤️ My sister repaid me the money I leant her last week (she had forgotten her wallet)
❤️ Had a socially distanced catch up with my sister whilst we did the grocery shopping, which was strangely lovely
❤️ Read some of my library ebook

Goals W/C 12th Oct
1. Spend less than £50 entertainment probably not going to be hard this week. £0
2. £10 groceries spend (have everything we need so should not be spending anymore than a few quid on milk or loaf of bread). £0 - this will be broken tomorrow need milk for coffee and can’t live with my coffee haha
3. Check and update the Yolt app daily. Done but nothing to update. It told me I’ve spent £2900 less than this time last month!
4. Structured work days - 9am starts 5.45pm finishes, emails off in evening. Lunch with wife. Eat dinner with family rather than wife cooking twice. Working from home all week (lockdown) apart from fee earners booked. Day 3 - done as I said I would
5. Train with wife 4x this week. Going to regret this I know haha. She’s already decided what we’re doing so no chance of backing out now. Completed slept badly last night and wife woke me up to HIIT lol sounds a bit wrong written like that
6. Activity with son everyday - probably going to be dog walk not going to be allowed to do much else... Dog walk and bedtime story9 -

* final alteration of the bodice toille. Have done some research and think I know what pattern alterations I need to do
* take dog for a walk
* do a exercise video
* all meals from stores
* madam has taken last of pesto pasta made for dinner last night in my heated flask. Really hope she doesn't lose the lid!
* load of washing & hang indoors
* BNS made last night for lunch mmmmmmm
* meal as per meal plan
* maybe list something to do (and actually do it!)
Ok that's me I think....DF as at 30/12/16

Good morning all,
In the way of small things
cheap but healthy porridge for breakfast 👍
cook two chickens at the same time and roast peppers, onions, garlic, celery and tomatoes to make a sauce at the same time 👍
check off credit card - always paid off in full just used for points 👍
chase clubcard again as my click and collect order didn't show the clubcard offer prices again - this will be a refund of nearly £20 so I'm not going to leave it 👍
check banking, keep everything straight 👍
avoid the heating going on, extra layers first 👍
share bath water later
all meals from stores, our food bill is still quite a bit higher then pre lockdown as we've gone back to tesco from aldee so that we can have the click and collect, need to keep an eye on this.
Take care all.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Morning folks
Was in a bit of a grump yesterday but will give my head a wobble this morning and jump back to it. Had a strong cider last night and I'm feeling it a bit this morning

It's my "Friday" and I'm glad, this week has been a bit of a head-fk and I need a bit of mental space for discussing with hubs about decisions on how we proceed under our new restrictions and what our level of comfort/caution is as a family.
Other than that, it's just small things:
B/L/D from stores
Move chilli plants indoors before the frost takes them
Told OH of plan to buy onions and garlic at the weekend
Poss cast on second sock but am not really feeling it today
Have a good one all

Morning all

- Make packups for rest of week -done!! tomato and pepper soup made last night which used up some sorry looking veg for today and tomorrow
- Pay old but small debt that's been lingering around for a year now... done!! and due to admin error it hasnt accrued interest for a year. small bonus
- Pay Klarna for small clothes shop I did couple of weeks ago reminder in diary to do that at lunch time today
it would only go in my savings, don't think it would be a great idea to overpay debt with it because after car service savings are looking a little low
