Morning

This morning will be spent trying to work out what is tripping our electric. It is the circuit for upstairs plugs and downstairs lights. Was a blinking nightmare last night as it kept going off but we couldn't work it out. I suspect we will have to get an electrician out...
As well as that I hope to:
* spend some time figuring out where to put my savings our joint account to maximise returns/get golden handshake
* a bit of sanding/filling - almost done now!
* do morning routine
* make madam's lunch - can tell it's the end of the term as I've been slipping here all week!
* exercise video
* TOMM
* sewing
* work out what I ca do for madam's lunch tomorrow so I don't need to go shopping today! although it may have to be today!
* read library book
* some knitting this evening
* do something with sloes and chestnuts foraged yesterday

@determined_new_ms - ours randomly tripped in the night last year. Turned out it was the toaster (although I assume you don't have one upstairs...) - who knew that a toaster was drawing power when not toasting?!LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.314

Morning folks
Didn't have the best sleep last night as was just mulling over the whole virus thing and the gym. I think it's hard for anyone to be losing something that they enjoy, but because it's a Crossfit-style gym, we are a community. It's not the sort of place where your headphones go on and you get on a treadmill. Everyone is quite devastated (worse than me!). Plus I know that it's going to be very hard for OH as it really helps to keep his MH in a good place. Going to find out today what our coach has planned.
Interestingly you might have seen stories in the news about a gym on the Wirral that is refusing to close - as much as I feel the sentiment, I can't really agree with flagrant rule-breaking as an approach. If you refuse to follow the rules, you'll always find an exception to any of them and then the virus will just spread willy nilly.
Other than that, WFH today:
B/L/D from stores
OH working
Finish cross stitch. I am outlining it with backstitch. I haven't done this before and I'm tying myself in knots (figuratively speaking) trying to decide whether to follow the squares of the stitches or try to make a curve. I settled on a curve but then hate the fact that it cuts the squares or has bits of backgound inside the curve. I think I'm too OCD for this kind of thing!
Poss cast on second sock. Finished the first one last night.
Have a good one all

No, I am saving it for today if things haven't improved 💡carrielovesfanta said:

Plans for today:
⭐ Record money spent ✔️
⭐ Stick to the list whilst shopping ✔️
⭐ Update freezer inventory ✔️
⭐ Put all the shopping away ✔️
⭐ Wear appropriate clothes instead of putting the central heating on ✔️
⭐ Take packed lunch and water to training with us ✔️
⭐ Make a batch of porridge ✔️
⭐ Dry the washing inside on the airer ✔️
⭐ Put the dehumidifier on to help the washing to dry and to stop the house getting damp, it will also have the added bonus of drying out the shower room fully as the airer is close by ✔️ It was raining heavily when we arrived home from training, glad I had made the decision to use the airer
Daily:
🍄B/L/D from stores 👍👍👍
🍄Home educate the children 👍👍👍
🍄Pmp etc 👍👍👍
🍄Continue my email project 👍👍👍
🍄 Close the curtains before it gets to keep the heat in 👍👍👍
🍄 Open the curtains fully to make the most of the natural light 👍👍👍
🍄 Ongoing survey 👍👍👍
It is currently sunny here but the flags are still damp. The living room is still lovely and toastie from when we had the stove lit yesterday. As the stove is cast iron it acts as a heat sink and gradually releases the residual heat over time. The water in the kettles is still very hot, I have decanted some (the kettles on the stove have generous capacity, way more than the amount I need for 1 person) into the electric kettle to bring to the boil for my pot of tea, plenty more hot water for later 😃Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Morning all,
@determined_new_ms I hope you've got to the bottom of the electrical issue.
@carrielovesfanta I totally understand the feelings of loss of the gym (when I was going to the gym it was mainly for classes and the camaraderie between us all was what made it so good)
@Baileys_Babe its the "light fairies" in our house
(who by the way also leave the loo seat up and toilet unflushed
)
@DawnW I've just seen on topcasback that they have icyland on there and thought I'd mention it in case its any good for you.
Todays list
washed a load on the quick 30 degree wash and hung out to hopefully dry - lovely blue sky and breezy so fingers crossed
Picked up mr t click and collect and put some air in dh's cars tyres whilst there as a warning light had come on.
Check banking/update spreadsheet
place an order for next week with icyland and go through tcb
make families lunches for tomorrow
make cauliflower cheese (as I have ordered more milk then I'd meant to!) to have with some salmon I took out of the freezer this morning for tonights meal
Thats enough for now, take care all.

Not to suggest that you would yell in any such way, no matter how sorely tempted

@carrielovesfanta It could have been me in the vid!!
My response often to "it wasn't me" is..... "no, it must have been me, I must have hovered over the loo and missed the pot then eh"! Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Hurrah I have sewn up the muslin bodice to the dress I am making. Looks good, do need to do one small bust adjustment and a final muslin before looking at the skirt - which I'll probably have to take out around 10-13cms - and then adjust the pattern pieces accordingly
I love it when it all comes together and you feel accomplished! DF as at 30/12/16
