Sounds delicious, I love pork belly, and my lamb smells delicious, so I will go and prepare the rest of my meal.

We love pork belly too and cook it in the slow cooker.

    Just done an Iceland order.,,

New product is Iceland sardines - beheaded, gutted and frozen 500g for 4.50 but on offer 3 for £10 to 17/06/22 Carbs 1.4g per 100g and can be barbecued, or oven-baked from frozen.

Iceland raw roeless scallops 200g frozen currently 6 bags for £19 or 4.75 each but I bought 3 anf got them for £10 at checkout. 5.9g carbs for half a pack, stir fried. They are Peruvian Queen scallops and I pan-fry them with a fresh thyme twig if I have some, in butter or ghee, and lemon juice.

Leerdammer Original sliced Dutch cheese 160g ( 8 x 20g slices) less than 0.1g carbs per 100g part of the 2 for 3.50 offer to 21/06/22. I team this with Mexicana ! (actually from Somerset) 4.7g per 100g to get the offer. Although they sound processed, neither of them has any nasties and both are sliced so good for packed lunches or bunless burgers.

I've been looking for a summer drink for my husband. I think I found it...Capri-Sun ..t says nothing artificial and they're right as I checked the ingredients carefully. Carbs for the Tropical flavour are 8.8g per bag. 8 bags in a box, 2 boxes for £4 to 21/06/22 so that's 16 bags ie 25p per bag which is cheaper than some waters.

Husband likes his Dairy Milk and buttons especially. and found at Iceland.. Cadbury's Dairy Milk Treatsize 70g ie 5 x 14.4 bags.. for £1. 8.2g carbs per 14.4g bag. Not the best ingredients but smell and taste like Dairy Milk. The 35% less sugar Dairy Milk and the Dairy Milk Little Bars are more like Galaxy without the richer taste.

Wish I had read this before shopping @MrsStepford, I love scallops, not keen on sardines, but find the 3 for £10 fish great, cod and haddock mostly.

Been back from my visiting a few days, still getting straight but will have to give meal plan some thought soon.

  • Last night I did chicken thighs, pan fried and then added some spinach then made a sauce with 2 tablespoons creme fraiche and a teaspoon of dijon mustard. Slightly adapted from the 8 wk B*S recipe book but delicious. Would certainly make that again but add more veg or cauliflower mash.

Sounds delicious @Wicked_Lady, or even over steamed shredded cabbage, will add that to my meal plan.

The original recipe used pork steaks, so I'll try those another time.

My friend was going FW, so got her to pick up 3 scallops and a bag of prawns, saved me money too as I would have picked up other stuff.
