Revision to meal plans as S.I.L. has cancelled weekend, so having homemade faggots with swede mash today, have the curry tomorrow, small pork joint for Sun/Mon with celeriac dauphinoise, probably sprouts for the veg.
Revising meal plan again as got a y.s. spatchcock chicken which will replace the pork.

I would like to do a meal plan, like @pamsdish but husband adamant that he doesn't want to know on Monday what he's supposed to be cooking on Friday. Like @shykins, we use mince for spagless bog with courgetti, shepherd's/cottage pie with assorted mashes and chilli. Also curry with Holland & Barrett organic konjac rice Holland & Barrett Organic Konjac Rice 270g | Holland & Barrett (hollandandbarrett.com) which seems to be the cheapest (we have a subscription so even cheaper) It's <0.1g carbs per 100g, organic and gluten free. Also Patak's Plain Pappadums x 6 | Big Night In - Indian Takeaway | Iceland Foods 3.1g carbs per poppadum 1.50 for 6 but often on offer.

New finds on the snack front

Also, Birds Eye 12 gluten free fish fingers 5g carbs per fish finger. £3.20 everywhere but £3 standard price at Morrisons.

Having the liver tomorrow, as defrosted already, changing the salmon to lamb shami kebabs, I really should stop actively avoiding fish.

Think I am going senile, went to rinse the liver this a.m. and discovered beef pieces, was quite looking forward to the liver, now have a beef stew on the go in the slow cooker, more amendments to come, mince out already for tomorrow, may try the liver on Thursday.

Had the liver yesterday, tried a leek and creme freche sauce, served with cauliflower buffalo wings, cauli was very nice will have again just cook for twice recommended time, liver ok but not a keeper.
Fish pie for today has morphed into salmon and something, have some ratatouille in the freezer, or, courgettes in the fridge, ought to spiralize and make some sort of sauce, will experiment.

love a chicken they can stretch so far!!!   roast one day, cold the next,  bits left can be stew, curry, gaelic chicken, pie etc etc

i am trying to batch cook to save energy costs.    hottest day of the year so far i had a stew on the go lol, also been doing lots of shepherds pies, bolognese, chilli etc   obviously low carb versions

I make them up individually in some pie dishes i got at the charity.   my son works nights so saves him cooking again  and i   also give some to my mum who is 85 so saves her having to cook as well
