It’s an Australia and New Zealand cruise. We did from Perth round to Sydney 5 years ago and then have saved so much a month to do the rest. It’s a bucket list one that we’ll never afford again. We had to pay the balance last month so they’ve a big chunk of money of ours.😱

    Hi guys
The weather has been miserable here today. Did anyone see the thunder snow on the news this morning? I heard of it but I didn’t realise we’d ever get over here, I thought it was more of a really cold country type thing.
I’m back at work Sunday, it’s a good thing. I stood on the scales this morning, not good at all. I really need to behave and stop eating so much sweet stuff. I knew I needed to because when I overdo it my body lets me know. I feel lethargic and bleugh.
We’re waiting to see what the travel agent had to say for themselves, the lead passenger had to get in touch so we supposed to having a phone call later.
I’m looking forward to going to DS2s tomorrow to help him decorate his tree, well mainly to stop his dog from eating the decorations, she’s quite curious and determined when she thinks something might be hers, once on the tree she’s fine 😂🐾😂
    Anyway time to make tea
    Keep well

Thanks, it is a bit disappointing but if it’s meant to be we’ll get to go eventually.

    Hi guys
Oh boy it was busy at work today, just a constant queue from when we opened until about an hour before close. I’m shattered. Mind you most of the people were cheerful, polite and happy to wait their turn so that was ok.
OH treated me to McDon***lds for tea which was lovely, no needing to think about what to have.
The reality of Brexit has started to appear on the news, even if we get a deal there may be disruption to food, medicines and chemicals needed for power.I can’t do anything about the 2nd two but I’ll fill the space where the Xmas food has been (when it’s been eaten) with tinned soups, meats, and veg and stuff like crackers , tea and coffee. We’re not a fussy family and can manage without lots of thing but tea isn’t one of them. All will be stuff we use and nothing that will be wasted. I hope there’s not the chaos there was with people buying vast amounts of food and leaving nothing on the shelves when the lockdown started.
Anyway it’s nearly Strictly time so I better go
    Keep warm and well

    Hi guys
The temperature is definately dropping here, there’s a lovely blue sky though.
After work I started on the Xmas/birthday cards for this month. One family has 3 birthdays as well as Xmas so they all went in one envelope. I’ve used sellotape to seal all my envelopes, licking envelopes just doesn’t seen right at the moment.
December seems to be whizzing past, it won’t be long now until the big day. Probably a good idea considering the amount of mince pies we seem to be getting through.
Anyway time to get some jobs done
    Keep well and warm.

    Hi guys
Well this afternoon has been productive, five of the 6 of us were available to sort out the cancelled New Zealand trip and the other was at the end of a phone. The itinerary we should have been having has changed so we are now having two shorter cruises back to back, same ship, that are a few days more if that makes sense. Another firm offered us this for less money ( more than we were originally paying but a decent deal) and the original firm just couldn’t or wouldn’t match it so we’ve requested our money back. Now fingers crossed that we get our money back before next November when the balance is due.
I’ve just tomorrow’s shift left to do now and then I’m off until next week. Lovely 😃

    Hi guys
I really must stop eating and also stop buying food, my cupboards are bursting. I’ve got until Monday off now and I really need to eat less and more sensibly, Xmas started early here cos there’s not much else to do but it’s terrible bad for the figure 😳

Enjoy your few days off.  Do you have time off over Christmas too?  I'm off from 23rd Dec to 4th January and I'm so looking forward to it.
    Your planned cruise sounds amazing.

Just take it one day at a time with the food. A bad day doesn’t mean it has to be a bad week. Enjoy your days off and hope your planned cruises go ahead, fingers crossed for some normality next year.
