I think it’s forecast good weather for the weekend so you should be fine. Hope you enjoy seeing your DS, sounds like somewhere nice to go. I haven’t been anywhere yet, I’m waiting for the novelty to wear off for others first.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Hi guys
Happy Saturday. I’m off all weekend and we’re off to visit DS1 and his partner tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to it. We finally get to meet their puppy ( who’s already turning into a long dangly teenager) She’s grown so fast. Also the lambs, they had a set of triplets born last week sl unless they’ve managed to find a foster mum there will be bottle feeding to be done.
DS2 is coming for lunch so I’m doing the main meal at lunch time today. Nothing too complicated.
Work has been ok this week. It’s picking up so hopefully I’ll be back to full hours (and maybe a bit of overtime) soon. The weather helps and people can stay in self catering flats and the caravan sites are open now so another step forward.
I will be thinking of the queen today. A difficult day for anyone to cope with.
I’m having a lazyish day today cos I feel a bit achy and tired. Not ill as such but I was told a long time ago by a doctor to listen to your body. This helped me make it through the menopause without medication, the only thing I needed to do was cut out red wine and curry, rest when I needed to and wear layers so I still listen now.
Anyway time to get on
Have a lovely weekend and keep well

I hope you have a lovely weekend with your sons. Sometimes lazy days are just what's needed. Glad your work is picking up.1

Hi guys
I had a lovely visit to DS1 and his partner. We had a lovely socially distanced barbecue and I met new grandpuppy, she is so sweet and lovely natured. We met up at the small holding so there was a lamb for me to feed, he’s not orphaned as such. A rare case of him rejecting his mum, as the smallest of triplets even though she’s a good mum and tried to feed him once he’d had a top up bottle he preferred that. The lambs were popping out all over and 4 arrived while we were there. If anyone had ever told me my son would have been farming I wouldn’t have believed it.
Work was steady today, we sold loads but were not rushed off our feet which was good. It meant we had the chance to get prep done for tomorrow so they’re not rushing about too much.I’m off tomorrow so I’m popping into town for a birthday present and some cards and paper. I’m making the most of town not being too busy cos once the summer hols start I won’t be going anywhere near until the season is over.
Anyway I hope everyone is feeling ok with the country opening up a bit. I know people that are struggling with it and don’t feel safe. Unfortunately I’ve no choice so I’m just trying my best to keep safe and hoping for the best.
Time to go
Night night
