I’m always doing freezer inventories with the intention of keeping them up to date and then forget to do so 🙄 I also sometimes don’t label things thinking I’ll remember what they are 😆

    Hi guys
i really must stop watching news programmes. I’ve spent a lot of the day getting exasperated with the idiots who can’t make a rule to save their lives. I really feel for the police trying to control things at the moment. If we were told you can’t go further than say 3 miles from home and that a choco mocha latte with cream and marshmallows is not essential, more people might stay in. That food shops should be one big one a week, not every day and from four different shops. I know people are bored but boredom is better than dead or causing death. If these people didn’t cause demand then people like me and my colleagues wouldn’t be put at risk. Sorry about my rant I just get so frustrated and scared at times.
Anyway apart from that I haven’t really done much, I made a nice chilli for tea in the sc and unfortunately gave in and had some custard creams for pudding.
I hope you’re all keeping well and I’ve not depressed you too much
    Keep warm and safe

I was in Mr T yesterday and the only people not wearing masks were two young couples, both couples looked about 20 years old at the most. One couple just walking past people no social distancing. Surely all of them not exempt from wearing a mask and surely it didn’t take both of them to shop given that they only had a hand basket 🤬

    Hi guys
I made a lovely tea tonight. Cottage pie with swede topping instead of potato and broccoli on the side. Very nice.
I’m still wading through my food stores and still have loads left. I’ll probably do egg and potato wedges for tomorrow’s tea because I’m at work tomorrow and it’s quick and easy.
One of the dresses I ordered with my Xmas vouchers arrived today. It’s a summery one and was a fraction of the full price (I rarely buy clothes at full price and this year there were so many bargains)
My bank account is looking good this week, I bought milk and bread yesterday but shouldn’t need anything else so should be able to put what’s left off the credit card tomorrow night before my wage goes in on Friday. I always knock some off on pay day and then again if I can.
    Anyway time for bed
    Keep safe and well

    Hi guys
Its been miserable weather today. I was frozen by the time I got to work and it snowed this afternoon, I’m counting down the days until spring. The weather is supposed to go colder again over the next couple of days , I hope it’s not too cold brrrrrr.
I’m a bit grumpy with work cos with the constant changing of hours I should have been paid 15 hours and 1 hour furlough and they’ve only paid me 14 hours. It’s a nightmare at the moment, my rota changed 3 times last week. I’ll have to sort it out tomorrow.
DS2 and his partner got a lovely little puppy just before xmas and they send regular pupdates, mainly photos of her sleeping in various places. She’s so cute, I wish I could have puppy cuddles and I know I will eventually, just she won’t be a tiny baby puppy. I get regular cuddles with my big grand puppy cos we feed DS2 at least once a week, maybe twice and he brings her too. She chose DS2 when he went to the rspca shelter 18 months ago and she’s a totally different dog now, when she arrived she didn’t know how to play with toys and didn’t understand that her bed was for her, the first night she thought when she was let out for a wee that she had to stay out ( the rspca lady thought she might have slept outside at her last home) She still doesn’t like some people, mainly tall skinny men so we’re not sure what sort of life she had before. Mind you she’s chosen well, DS2 adores her as much as she adores him.
    Anyway enough about my grandpuppies
    Night night

Appreciate you're scared and worried. It might be borne in mind though that without demand, the company you work for might become unviable, leaving you out of work. Difficult times I know, but these are some of the economic realities.

What a lovely story about the rescue dog - I cannot understand how anyone could be cruel to animals.  My rescue cat was such a scardy cat when I got him - I couldn't get near him for weeks but gradually he learned to trust me and now he is so affectionate, although he doesn't trust anyone else.  Apparently before he was rescued someone thought it would be fun to tie a firework to his tail.
I hope you get your wages sorted out today.

    Hi guys
I can’t believe how cruel people can be with innocent animals. Our first cat was rescued by my husband and his workmates. He used to work on the railway and they found a bag of tiny tiny kittens someone had thrown over the wall, there was one little ginger tom still alive. He never grew that big but he was a real little character.
My wages are sorted so that’s ok.
It was really slippery this morning and absolutely freezing. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got snow. I hope we don’t.

    Hi guys
Today hasn’t been madly exciting, but that’s no bad thing. I was shattered after yesterday’s shift. Work has decided that we only need two people at a time, including Saturdays. The trouble is the customers didn’t realise and lots came anyway, so we were very busy and still needed to get all the cleaning and next day prep done too. So last night was early to bed.
Today I’ve got chicken pieces in gravy in the slow cooker, with healthy roasties done in the air fries and cabbage for tea with rice pud for afters. I gave up on weight watchers and have gone back to slimming world. I was starving all the time to lose weight or just staying the same, so I’ve gone back to sw but online. It’s cheaper  (doing the zoom meeting just didn’t help me at all so I’d left in the first lockdown.) than the normal classes. I feel more in control already.
All Ive done today is food prep and watch tv. Not a bad day at all.
