    Hi guys
Well it’s not any warmer here which has meant icy pavements so I’m staying put. OH had to take the car for MOT , it needs some work but will give us at least another year for not too much money. The days of us having lovely new shiny cars are long gone, as long as it’s safe that’s good enough.
Im making cowboy corned beef pie for tea, it’s basically a corned beef base with a layer of baked beans, then cheesy mash then cheese topping and put in the oven until hot and toasty. With mashed carrot on the side it’s winter food heaven 😋😋😋
The diet is going well, I feel less flabby already 😀 I give myself incentive by looking at clothes online. I don’t need any, I’ve loads of clothes just not many that fit.
I’ve been watching the new on what’s going on in the US. It’s scary but not totally unexpected from Trump that he’s not leaving without trouble. We’re living in a worrying world.

    Hi guys
Today the only excitement has been snow. It started early afternoon but rarely settles round here.
Work has been really slow today, they’ve cut the opening hours again. I think we’ll do enough to stay open but only just.
I can’t seem to get warm this evening. I think it’s snuggly blankie time 😀

I encourage my own weight loss looking at lovely clothes online  I could spend hours looking.

    Hi guys
I forgot to say yesterday that my first weigh in came in at -2 and a half pounds. I don’t lose weight quickly so I’m happy with that.
We had snow yesterday, luckily it didn’t stick because it was frozen solid this morning which could have been really dangerous.
DS2 ( our bubble boy) and grand puppy came to visit for lunch so we’re having the meals backwards today. Tuna pasta for lunch and the end of a pack of bacon and egg buns for tea. I like to see him often to make sure he’s ok, he keeps regular contact online with his friends and is busy working from home, but I still worry that he’s ok. Seeing grand puppy is always lovely too, when I say puppy she comes up to my hip but she’s a big, soft lump.
When they’d gone home I had an afternoon nap. We usually have an online visit with some friends on a Saturday evening so I better get on.
    Keep warm and safe guys

    Thanks guys
Tonights meal was a treat. OH wanted something sweet ( he’s doing that Noom diet thingy and it says have an occasional treat so that you don’t feel deprived ) so we had the Xmas pudding and custard. I had butternut squash soup first so it won’t be too much damage. Gosh it was good 😋

Today I’m glad I’m not at work, the weather is drizzly and disgusting and OH started his new job today so I’ll need to start finding my way to work and back. I’m glad he’s started though, we weren’t sure whether it would have been put on hold.
Im having a productive day today. Bed stripped and in the washer, food out of the freezer to defrost for various meals. I’ve done an inventory of what’s in the freezer, I must stop freezing soft bananas, I’ve got three tubs in there at the moment. I really need to use them. Maybe I’ll make a load of muffins later in the week and freeze in small packs.
I’m not on work until Thursday now so I’m not going anywhere. I will need a bottle of milk and fruit at some stage but apart from that I won’t need anything.
    Anyway I must get on.
    Keep safe

Good news about your DH's job.  Freezer inventories always bring to light interesting things - at least you can recognise what the bananas are, I've sometimes found things that are unrecognisable until defrosted.  🥴.
