5 months to clearing the card is amazing. Well done for walking to work too. It's so much nicer in the summer to get out and about. Mind you, I noticed that it was lighter for longer tonight which is great.2

Well done on the weight loss 👏 We woke to a light dusting of snow, then the sun came out and it disappeared, then it snowed again, then the sun melted it again. We don’t get snow much here either, if we do it disappears very quickly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Thanks guys
The snow only lasted a couple of hours luckily but it’s gone very cold.DS2 is coming to visit later to watch the footie ( he’s in our bubble ) so I’m making sausage, mash, carrots, cabbage and gravy for tea. Winter food 😋😋😋
I’m currently watching the Lord of the Rings Trilogy this afternoon with maybe a nap. A proper Sunday afternoon 😀

Enjoy your Sunday afternoon and your winter food. I've followed a tip from a thread on these boards and I'm watching Death in Paradise to enjoy some Caribbean sunshine and scenery.0

I've never watched it before so I've started from series 1, episode 1 - I'm enjoying it. A dose of sunshine on a winter's afternoon.0

I watched it from the beginning in the first lockdown but will happily watch repeats at any time.

Hi guys
Ive been sooooooo bored today. Roll on the warmer weather. It was just too cold to go out, if I’d needed something I would have walked to the shops but I’m reasonably well stocked up. Anyway I would only have succumbed to sweet stuff and I’m trying to be good.
I had a look at uk caravan holidays for June/ July because I can’t see foreign holidays being on by then but uk ones might. We managed a weekend away in September for OHs birthday but it ended up just being the two of us when restrictions were put on the Thursday before we were going away so our friends and both sons and partners couldn’t come. It was just nice to have a change of scene though. I’ve learnt not to put deposits down though, too much work rescheduling.
DS1s partners brother had his COVID shot before the weekend, he’s fragile so if he catches it it could be deadly, so we’re all breathing a sigh of relief .Anyway I hope everyone is keeping safe and well.
