I'm sneaking in with a +½lb gain this is not starting well for me I afraid, I agree with Monna that the colder weather as per usual for this time of year is making me want to eat more, my body thinks it's going to hibernate which might not be a bad idea this year
the cat may object
I was annoyed enough yesterday to defrost a slice of courgette and carrot cake (it had vegetable in) and two slices of thick bread to toast. However you have reminded me I have SF jelly in the cupboard
Marion2 i installed the CV19 app onto my phone with no problem but it seems to be eating my battery, I have a older phone but really don't want to replace it just yet as up until now it has worked ok. My heating is still turned off but I think i will need to reorganise my work space as currently chair backs onto the window and is next to the back door (which is in the dining room) so i'm in a cold spot. I would go upstairs but my wifi isn't great when I sit next to the router so i don't think it will cope. I'm on holiday next week as I need to use up about 3 weeks and I will still be carrying 5 days over so it can wait until then. Regulations allowing I'll go and pick up one of my sisters and she will stay a few days, she is happy to make herself useful by putting my back garden to bed for the winter

Line drawn under the last two weeks and I'll start again. Breakfast was some stewed apple and blackberries, i resisted the urge to put a crumble topping onand lunch will be the last portion of soup. Not sure about dinner yet but it will include the last of the gammon just not sure with what and it will also be determined by the time I finish work tonight

Monnagran I'll wait and see what the scales say tomorrow. Sometimes I put on about 2lb but it really depends on the rest of the week. It's pretty rare that I go out specially to buy biscuits, I normally don't keep them in the house as it's asking for trouble. Always suffer the day after, I really shouldn't eat them.
Been good the last couple of days, lunch today was home made meatballs and a huge serving of brocolli.. Probably boiled eggs and salad later.
New phone picked up last night. The other one is so bad I can't even open 'settings' to access anything!. Think it was already on it's way out but the Covid app finished it off. It had quite an argument with Google Playstore as well.
Hope that everyone who hasn't re-joined or haven't posted yet are ok.2 -
Yes, tut indeed to me, Monnagran. I have done a lot better today, although not low carb.
Breakfast: Mini Latte
Lunch: Scrambled egg on sourdough toast, apple
Dinner: Homemade pizza with sourdough base and topped with peppers, mushrooms and onions. Greek yoghurt with lemon curd.
Snacks: 3 more mini milky coffees, 1 large coffee, 2 squares dark chocolate.
Exercise: 60 minute walk, 90 minutes tennis.
Today's mini victory was resisting the amazing cakes when my friends and I went out for coffee after tennis, even though they all had one.
I've been making a tiny baby doll (2 inches so really tiny) ready to go onto a card when my daughter has her baby next month. I've put a loop on its head so she can then hang it on her Christmas tree as she loves a special ornament each year, and this will represent the year her baby was born. It's kept me busy and away from the kitchen so an added bonus!

It's a 2lb loss for me so far.
Normally I don't have time for breakfast, but have lunch and then dinner. However, DH due to his digestive problems has decided to have porridge for breakfast, a few dry biscuits for lunch and then a normal dinner.
I've decided to join in - porridge is OK - I make it with water. Lunch - I'm struggling, I usually eat more at lunch than dinner so I'm finding it hard to cut back on the amount I eat. Dinner is OK.
I'll see how it goes over the next couple of weeks. - the things we do/put up with, for our other half!!!3 -
I'm a stay the same too this week. I actually dropped a couple of pounds mid week but then they reappeared! Don't know how that happens.
Breakfast: Mini milky coffee
Lunch: Homemade tomato soup with tiny piece of baguette. Greek yoghurt with lemon curd.
Dinner: Minced beef with mushrooms, cabbage and carrots. Raspberries and cream.
Snacks: 3 small and 2 large milky coffees (!), 3 squares of dark chocolate, Solero
Exercise: 1hr of yoga, walk with friend.

Brambling enjoy your holiday.
Think it's a really good idea to freeze cake, I might try that next time (I bake occasionally if I want a baked sweet potato or use the oven for something). I really need to make my own 'treats' as wheat doesn't agree with me. I'm not gluten intolerant, just very sensitive to it and unfortunately porridge oats as well (love porridge!).
Hopefully this week will be better for all of us and we can all press on with getting back on the wagon if we need to.
