Hello All
well a disappointing sts for me this week, I seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut. Adjusting to home working is not helping either. Am off next week with the kids for half term so not holding out for a loss next week but at least I'll be leaving the house as dentist and eye tests for them booked, ooh the excitement! I think once I'm back to work the following week I'll need to plan in some time each day for exercise even a little should help.

Good morning.
A STS for me too again this week. I obviously need a rethink on what I am doing. Got DGD arriving shortly so better go get ready.

Morning All
Been reading your posts this morning, I can't help wondering if a STS for a week/couple of weeks means that you actually have to change what you are doing. We are up against an awful lot at the moment, restrictions, working at home (if you do). lockdowns and just life in general. The supermarkets aren't helping (if you go in store), loads of Halloween goodies and an increasing amount of festive food usually in the same aisle!. Enough to tempt a Saint on top of the normal sweet stuff Weight can fluctuate quite a lot in the course of a few days, so as long as you are good most of the time it might be worth just sticking with what you're doing.
I'm on my final few pounds to lose now and know it could be quite difficult to shift but I'm sticking with my eating plan as I know it works. I find exercise (walking) every day really helps but it does need to be something you enjoy particularly now the daylight hours are getting shorter!.5 -
Yes, i am in the middle of a virtual lockdown here for at least four weeks, likely to be more.
I think its making me depressed and miserable and in I have got the baking going again which hasn't helped my diet.I walk every day but i do so with my Mum who is in her eighties so its fairly slow paced.
I used to swim regularly in a local school pool but thats not happening now. Swimming is my favourite form of exercise by far. Great for burning up the calories and general body toning.Norn Iron Club member 4734 -
Hi everyone! Thank you @Artytarty for letting me know about this thread. At the start of lockdown, I wanted to lose 6kg, now it's 9kg due to pizzas and attempting to make daim bars, so I'm hoping some accountability will help. When we were all in the office, it really helped me to have a list of treats I didn't eat that I added to whenever donuts, cake etc appeared in the office - it meant the decision was made and there was no more thinking about it, but it's a bit harder working from home.
So I guess for this challenge period 8lbs please. When do we "weigh-in"?

Hello and welcome onboard! I think you can weigh in on any day but Ive a feeling that it helps if its a Friday. Someone else will know better than .
it just so good to be able to type out your demons and Weaknesses and with the help of others they dont seem like such a big failure after all, and not worth throwing the towel in for.
in other words, it helps me to keep going.

Hello Everyone
Hope you are all well. I'm just back from my four week holiday and I'm very pleased to say that I've lost 4 pounds which is in keeping with my goal of loosing a pound a week. I have to confess that I don't quite know how I managed it with all the cake, etc I have eaten.
Anyway, back now and have to get some sort of meal plan sorted out.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
I had issues with my tablet yesterday, but I did weigh in.
An unexciting STS I'm afraid. I'm relieved. It could have been much worse.I believe that friends are quiet angels
