Thats great Monna, with those scales you have , which I think must be possessed, a STS is a win!
I had got a bit fanatical and was weighing myself everyday, now ill only do it once a week.
    What do you all do?

    Good afternoon everyone  :)

    Artytarty thank you. 🐶 😀
    Kimwp welcome!  :)
Tonisfriend  congratulations on that super loss 👏👏👏
Well I weighed in this morning and I am just in the most trendy group today with a real designer STS! 😁

Marion2 in my experience, an STS is nothing to worry about as long as you keep doing what you know works. I think of it as the time when my body tidies up and rearranges itself before waving goodbye to another bit of weight. Doesn’t make it any less frustrating, though!  :)

Have a good week, everyone!  :)

    Hello Brambling and all.

So sorry that I have been missing.  I have been stuffing my face and sometimes very scared to get on the scales, but its been okay.  I'm roughly still 12 stone 4 and a half pounds.  So I am going to give myself a target of losing 5lbs.  It will be lovely to be in the 11's.  Have been nearly there but it keeps going back to 12'4.

Right so I have gone on a family jolly, and I won't be able to do any focussed exercise, but I will be doing a lot of walking so hopefully that will make up for it. But some wine already happened yesterday so will have to be restrained! But I am hoping for an STS this week.

I've decided to go strictly low carb for this week - no more milky coffees, potatoes or bread (even my husband's homemade sourdough) and see if I can get moving downwards again. Also my son is on holiday this week so I have a twice daily walk to feed his kittens which I can use to up my exercise. That's on top of the tennis, yoga, Pilates and walks I already do. He also won't be coming for lunch as he usually does so if I'm feeling particularly good I may even try fasting till the evening once or twice. I have done in the past. I do a 24 hour fast where I dont eat after six pm one day till six the following day which works quite well. I already regularly  don't eat after six till lunch time the next day without getting hungry so it's only adding a few hours extra on and I wouldn't do it more than twice in a week. Otherwise, I've made some homemade soup which I can have for my lunches. I always feel really good on a low carb diet which is an added bonus. I prefer exercising on an empty stomach so it's no problem for my tennis etc. and although my friends and I often go out for coffee afterwards, its getting harder to do so as we've been sitting outside and its getting colder.

Fingers crossed it will make a difference and help motivate me further.

    Hi everyone!
    1 lb loss brambling
I haven't been very careful the last month and I have been avoiding to read the messages but I am happy that overall I had 1 lb loss. There is a lot of stress with work and I eat for comfort. I need to take control again!
