We're both in the same place Monna 😐 I agree the colder weather makes my body want to store food for the winter it doesn't listen when I tell it there's no need these days 🙄 I could live off my fat for several winters
horrid wet day here, I did go to the SM where people were beginning to stock up by the looks of it and add the embarrassment of remembering as the last item was scanned that my card case was on the dining room tableluckily it's only 5 min from home as I only had £5 and change in my wallet
food wise I'm trying today to undo the damage of eating half a tub of vanilla ice cream last night, left from a family dinner last weekend 🤫🤐 so it's been healthy eating today and a glass of red with strictlyLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4 -
Quick post to say minus 1lb for me to add to the list.5

STS for me this week, Brambling. I thought I'd been good but obviously not good enough. Think lack of exercise is a bit of the problem. I'm just not burning up calories.
So I'm going to start posting my meals again as I think that really helps me stick to a plan. It's boring to everyone else, I know, so feel free to scroll past.
Morning - Fruit
Lunch - Feta salad
Dinner - Goulash with rice.
No alcohol - just drinking sparkling water.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
STS for me Brambling
I will need to put some extra effort, now with the lockdown, I know that I'll walk less (my main form of exercise) but probably eat the same!4 -
1/2lb loss please Brambling.
I don't have much to say. I found the 'ignore' feature and have put a username from this thread on it. (Toni'sfriend it isn't you!).3 -
Hi hope everybody is well. @Brambling just want to say how much this thread has meant to me since March, I'm not really sure how I would keep at it without this thread. And I suspect lb's will stick more now in the colder weather and with another lock down. I shall miss swimming.
@Toni'sfriend I think posting meals is good, it is inspirational and good for ones accountability (to oneself).Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hi, can I join in? In a few years I've gone from 7st 3lb to 8st 5lb, but am a right shorty so look at least 2 stone overweight now. If I could just get back to 7 stone something, but have trouble with evening snacking and only have to look at sugar/carbs to gain. Need some support. I want to try and lose 7lb before Christmas, even though if by some chance lucky enough to do that I'll no doubt put it all on again then, plus some.

Just popping in to say I am still staying the same. 12 stone 4.5 lbs. I need to pull myself up by my bootstraps and get rid of 5lbs
Then I would be in the 11's. Not a lot to ask really, but I know that staying the same is good too. And I need to remind myself that about three years ago I was almost 14 stone. Thanks for this great thread Brambling and everyone, it really helps to keep me focussed on the positives.

Very wet and miserable here and I have to go and get my flu jab. I don't know why I have to go to a venue five miles away instead of the normal one at the Health Centre which is a ten minute walk. Luckily it's first thing this morning and the Boy is coming to drive me because no way could I get there by public transport.
Anyway today's plan:
Breakfast - Banana, bueberries and strawberries (and very nice it was too)
Lunch - Salad (mozzarella, I think)
Dinner - Chicken and butterbean soup (to use up bits and bots of vegetables and some cooked chicken from the freezer)Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.4 -
