Old Style Weight Loss 2020 - Part 4

Thanks guys
Unfortunately it does bring home that my remaining Aunt is 90 and that on both sides of the family all the rest have gone, my dad was one of 9 and my mum of 4 so there were lots of Aunts and Uncles living close when we were growing up there were 5 sets within walking distance and with the exception of 1 aunt the rest were only 4 or 5 miles awaymy dad would deliver all Christmas cards on his bicycle (very MSE no stamps
) As part of his dementia my uncle wouldn't allow help or carers in the house only a gardener who was a family friend so I'm hoping my aunt who is sound of mind (mad as a box of frogs but she's always been like that) but her body is failing will allow my cousin to sort a cleaner for her (if that's possible at the moment)
I will say living in a village with so many family around us meant we daren't misbehave as it would have gotten back to my dad before we got home so we were allLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4 -

A 1lb loss for me this week.Norn Iron Club member 4733 -
It sounds lovely to have grown up knowing everyone was close by.
Do we do half pound losses? I had a down day on Wednesday and ate a severe amount of chocolate so lucky I've not gained this week!Statement of Affairs (SOA) link: https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/financecalculators/soa.phpFor free, non-judgemental debt advice, try: Stepchange or National Debtline. Well done on your loss Arty
Kim I'll take ½ and 1lbs I'm afraid my meno brain may implode if i have to start calculating smaller fractionsdo you want me to add a STS this week or am I ahead of myself. We all have down days at least you seem to have curtailed it to one day
I found a UFO in the freezer, which i'll have for lunch. I think it is cottage pie with root veg mash i know there is tenderstem broccoli and braised red cabbage in the container. It's only a lunch time portion I but the small containers in the £ shop which are similar to those used by takeaways. Not sure about dinner yet other than I've taken some stirfry turkey breast from the freezer as well, it will depend what veg are left as it's Friday and I don't plan to shop until tomorrow morningLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4 -
Hi Just checking in with a STS for the week.
Had to go away and was forced to eat and drink too much, with limited scope for physical activity so will be on a quick recovery programme these next few days. Had a lovely time seeing famly.
Yesterdays food was
B Banana
L 1 and a half slice of rye with herring tomato and cucumber
S apple and peanut butter(a bit criminal)
D pan fried chicken thigh w rice and peas, pudding was yoghurt w granola
Exercise was a 4 M run
Not exactly a skinny day, but it might have balanced out.
I am trying to do 8/16 faste for the next few days except it might be more like 16/8 if I don't watch out!
I think today ill be a roasted vege kind of day and maybe I will try to make borscht! (for halloween, not doing much else for it, maybe a scary movie!)Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Heavy sighing in the IOW. I have put back the pound I lost a couple of weeks ago. So it's +1lb please Brambling.
I'm fortunate it wasn't more. I've lapsed into cold weather comfort eating. Not badly, but things like toast, jacket potatoes, porridge (with honey), .....
I need something to jolt me back into hair-shirt mood.I believe that friends are quiet angels
